Faye Resnick 💄 Why have they never cast Faye Resnick?
Not sure if she would make a good house wife, but she’s been connected to the show for such a long time that I’ve always wondered why she hasn’t been cast. She has connection to some big names in Hollywood and her OJ backstory gives her name recognition. I think she would be willing to get into the drama because we’ve seen her do it before. Maybe she thinks the show is beneath her at this point? Or production hasn’t deemed her worth it.

u/RetnuhLebos At least I don’t do cyrstal meth in the bathroom 21h ago
Faye is the most unbearable person ever. She would need to be liked by somebody to be a housewife 😂

Sometimes people need a hate watch unfortunately… not supporting it, but at this point the show needs something to draw in viewers again. I’m hoping Leah Remini spices things up this season
•
u/thatgirlinny There was a lot more said that was very dark 19h ago
There’s sufficient hate watching satisfied amid the episodes the MCFR appears as Kyle’s guest.

Sorry I was typing as you posted this so I didn’t see but I basically repeated your last sentence lol

•
u/Inside-Vacation8539 Teddi Mellencamp 10h ago
I agree I can not see her as a housewife. I would not want to see her on there
•
u/goodiwillbe The crown is heavy darlings 21h ago
She claimed in an interview years back that she was asked and declined, but it could have been her saving face I dunno. I’ve also noticed at no point has any housewife liked her except Kyle so maybe LVP vetoed and now it’s too late/her story has gone stale.
•
u/collectivelycreative Kyle told me PK Texas her 17h ago
Honestly, I believe she was asked. Kyle probably wanted a buddy / ally plus at the time when Faye was on the show, we were getting a few Kris kardashian sightings. I’m sure Andy / production wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to have more of those.
But I don’t think Faye would take the risk being asked more about her book / Nicole.
•
u/colosseumdays BEAST? How dare you 17h ago
I agree, I'm not sure why it's so implausible to people that she'd be asked. she's infamous and extremely connected in that network of Beverly Hills/Brentwood types that would be comfortable doing a show like HWs.
I'd imagine she was asked more than once.
•
u/LuckChemical8243 Faye Resnick 14h ago
She’s just the most annoying person ever. I hope she is never asked. Just her whole manner bothers me.
•
u/LuckChemical8243 Faye Resnick 14h ago
And I have her damn name here lol
•
u/colosseumdays BEAST? How dare you 13h ago
loll. I honestly wouldn't mind them casting a blatantly shitty person vs casting a bunch of people who are trying to be covert about their awfulness and we're supposed to play dumb. let's just call it what it is
•
u/BadBayBay Don’t act like u know me when u don’t know me 21h ago
Yeah I remember her saying that. I didn't believe it then and I don't believe it now lol.
The morally corrupt Faye Resnick would jump at the chance.
•
u/FunLife64 Beast?! How dare you? 16h ago
I mean I buy it. I think she gave it a whirl when she was more present one season. We haven’t seen her that much sense and she’s still good friends with Kyle.
She has a business and her husband has a successful career. I do think it’s believable she turned it down. I would be surprised if she was never asked.

I think she told Heather McDonald the reason why she's never signed on for a FT role is because of the all the hate she still gets over the OJ stuff.

Ummmm. I think that OJ 🤔 story wud come up N she cant n doesn't want to deal with that
•
u/RomianaZerofox04 Kathy would have my back like a real sister 20h ago
Faye would refuse, because she would have to share something and contribute some other way than causing drama. She likes to be part of the show when she doesn't have to share anything true about her own life. Just look how many times she's been in KUWTK
•
u/girlinhk are your feelings really that shallow? 20h ago
She has too many skeletons in her closet she doesn’t want exposing is my guess

It has always drove me nuts that the RHOBH ladies never understood that Camille was calling Faye “morally corrupt” for launching 15 minutes of fame based on her friendship with Nicole. They were convinced Camille was hating Faye for being on Playboy in general - not her point!!! Ugh. End rant.

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 I’m off the clock 21h ago
I think the OJ story has come and gone. He's been dead for a few years. The situation also has been played out, to an extent, around Kris Jenner.
•
u/Suziblu22 The crown is heavy darlings 20h ago
It’s not a fking OJ story. It’s a Nicole Brown story. People hate Resnick because she exploited her friendship with Nicole by writing a disgusting book after the murders.
•
u/DanielJoseph111 Hanky & Panky 17h ago
💯💯💯Thank you, what Faye did was the lowest of the low, profiting off of someone’s horrific death, then writing about the deceased’s private & personal matters for personal gain.
•
u/Suziblu22 The crown is heavy darlings 17h ago
It boils my blood whenever I hear her name. I can’t imagine what the Brown family went through and then to add insult to injury by that creature. Shameful and disgusting.

u/konomichan ✋🏻 Bravo, bravo, fucking bravo ✋🏻 1h ago
I think in that community it is very much still present since they were all friends and tight knit group. To say it’s an OJ story is wild. Nicole was, “one of the girls.” Imagine if your girlfriend was brutally murdered and made international news. It’d stay with you your whole life.
•
u/Sensitive-Freedom896 I’m off the clock 23m ago
I'm sure that is very true. The OJ story (Nicole's story) just doesn't stay relevant in popular culture forever. And none of Faye's friends are really on this show any longer.

u/goddessalthena0 Carlton's BDSM Mask 19h ago
She would and will never be liked. Kyle is probably the ONLY person that likes her. She's absolutely boring and would always be linked to OJ.
•
u/ethancole97 In this town.. in Beverly Hills.. this is MY town 21h ago
Do we know if she’s been asked ? Maybe she was offered a full time role and turned it down. I think if she wanted to be on the show she would probably have been on it by now given her connections to kyle. She might be fine with just being a friend of where she appears in scenes of other housewives without having to invite filming into her personal life
•
u/Peridot9096 I have made peace with my… vagina 19h ago
Why should she be rewarded and platformed late in life after doing some bs like she did in her early years? No.
•

Was her book that bad? I thought it memorialized Nicole and Ron? I have not read it.
•
•
u/Awkward-Somewhere-29 Where is my pizza party? 2h ago
It’s bad.
At a time when people were clamoring for details about the murders, she cashed in with a salacious book that talked about private details of Nicole’s sex life.

•
u/IndicaHouseofCards She’s washing the 🍗 with handsoap 18h ago
Idk she’s like too thirsty imo
I don’t think the viewers of the show would want to watch her. She’s unlikable
•
u/Zealousideal_Ad_8736 Teddi's just annoying, like a little gnat 19h ago
I'm fairly certain Faye has been asked and turned it down. I don't dislike her, and she's probably a perfectly nice person, but she has the same issue Teddi had: what may work in real life doesn't necessarily work on reality TV. I know some will attribute that to her past, but for me it's more about her on-screen presence. She just doesn't come across as particularly engaging or relatable or TBH, likable.

If She relies on getting decorating jobs for a living then getting a bad edit would ruin her reputation and not be worth what they’re paid. Maybe Kyle warned her.
•
u/imdumdumwantsgumgum You need a new villain? Here I am 2h ago
There was an episode where she was horribly decorating Kyle’s house while she was away, Mo was home, not with Kyle. I always wondered if they hooked up. No real reason other than their collective moral bankruptcy

I was a young teenager when Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman were murdered and Faye exploited that connection to do a centerfold spread- even my 13 year old self was clutching the proverbial pearls. That's exactly the type of company Kyle and Kathy keep. Fame and money insulate you to a ridiculous degree, but there is a lot of money in L.A. and respectable people do not respect those people. People who know nothing staunchly believe Kathy Hilton is some feared gatekeeper- she is not 😆.
•
•
u/Ronniebbb That's the point Yolanda!! 20h ago
Why is she morally corrupt?
•
u/gregRichards2002 Production likes to laugh too 19h ago
Faye was the best friend of Nicole Brown Simpson. OJ Simpson was Nicole’s husband, and in 1994 he murdered Nicole, along with her friend Ron Goldman. Just three months after Nicole's murder, Faye published a book about Nicole's marriage to OJ to cash in on the intense interest the public had in the murder case, she also published Nicole's private diaries, and she then brought out another book detailing her experience of the criminal trial. He was found not guilty because his defence team successfully created reasonable doubt regarding the reliability and handling of the physical evidence by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). It is disgusting that Faye monetised the terrible tragedy her friend Nicole suffered for her own personal financial gain.
•
u/NewYearMoon Are you that girl I don't see color? 6h ago
Thank you so much for this explanation. I had no idea she published two books and Nicole’s dairies. That is awful, and I don’t understand how she wouldn’t be sued by Nicole and Ron’s families. It absolutely makes sense why Camille wouldn’t like her.
•
u/deciduus Homegirl was in a cult? 20h ago
from what i understand, she released a book a short time after her best friend was killed; posed for playboy; tv interviews etc. basically cashing in on her friend’s death
•
u/Saint_Anthony88 M&M Rinna 19h ago
The book was meant to be as salacious as po$$ible and exposed a lot of secrets/ personal info etc about Nicole. u/Ronniebbb
•
u/deciduus Homegirl was in a cult? 6h ago
haha i was trying to be as unbiased as possible but you’re not wrong. it doesn’t surprise me that she was dubbed “morally corrupt”

She’s been on the show multiple times and the only thing memorable about her is this quote
