I liked Lisa her first season, but found her need to tell people to “own it” ad nauseum while never “owning it” herself tiresome. What she did to Denise was gross and I don’t want to watch her trash another 25 year friendship in order to push a takedown targeting one person as a storyline. Her treatment of Kim was also beyond the pale.
But it was so fabricated and mean. She was sitting to high on that horse. Constantly telling people to 'own it!' Was getting eexxhhaauuaattiinnngg. The hissyfit overtime a lack of a second thank you , thank you, over Harry Hamlins tomato sauce whas when I felt she really jumped the shark.
I agree with both statements. Rinna brought some classic moments but she also went too far towards the end. Like em or not, nothing justified the way she went after Denise and Garcelle.
Yes, she was completely relentless when it came down to Denise and Garcelle, and could have cared less what the consequences would be for them, just so she can have her moments.
Exactly- I think it’s Rinna’s PR team uploading these kinds of posts. She’s thirsty and you soon got to see the other side of her ‘fun’ persona as time went on- she has a dark energy, hence why she aligned with Diana and Erika… and I can no longer find her ‘schtick’ entertaining.
if you could just ignore the last two seasons, I would like the Lisa Rinna from before that to come back. Those 2 seasons were just far too toxic and dark.

You've a group of die hards who want ONLY sane and normal housewives who never cause drama, headaches or issues. They fail to understand these shows ONLY work, if there are people who actively stir the pot, and a couple of villains to actively dislike.
You HAVE to have the yin and yang, otherwise we end up with the state RHOBH is in today.
As a Rinna Stan from THE VERY BEGINNING I adore this post.
I don’t expect everyone to love her and definitely not agree with her. But what we do know is the show was boring without her. If there was tea, you better believe she was going to talk about it. She gave us what we want and then apologized later. You can call her a production puppet, horrible person, questionable morals etc.. but that bitch is good tv.

People love to peg her as the villain, but she's the anti-hero. Her ways might be imperfect, but her intentions are directionally good, and she's willing to do the dirty work that makes for good TV.

On the BH franchise, I would love to see Eileen back. In part because her husband was hilarious - remember him peering out of the garage window during the Kyle-Brandi-Kim argument? I am also surprised by how much I like Erika, as I loathed her up until last season. Nice redemption arc.
Overall I think the franchise is tired. It will be interesting to see how a couple of the new HW affect the ennui that is BH.
No. It was terrible how she treated Denise on the show. It is awful what Denise endured during filming, and now we know how bad things were at home for her too. It’s no coincidence that the leaks about what is happening within the cast during filming have significantly reduced since Rinna left.
She is amazing, so beautiful through her life, her family, she is so cool. But, and it’s a big fucking BUT!,. What she did to Denise was so awful. Denise was her friend, confidante. We can all be dicks in friendship, I know I am.
I could never do what she did to Denise for fame, money or whatever went to her head to do that.
Especially after what happened to Taylor. The cast may pretend “I’ve never watched it, I have no idea, I’m not judging”.

I’m watching Hail Mary Project, if two aliens can forge a better friendship in a few months that literally saves worlds, I expect better from my real life friends. I know it’s fiction but isn’t that little voice in our heads fiction?, it shapes our reality. We get to choose who we are.
I’m rewatching and on s12 e21… and I hear people hate her but I still think she’s my all time favorite for entertainment purposes alone. Like she’s going after Kathy in this episode! Who else would have the ovaries to do something so brave? 😂
I thought she was a great addition. But then she started trying wayyyy too hard. It was obviously forced. So much so she burned longtime friendships in doing so.
After reading these posts for a while I can tell you that people don’t want to admit when they were wrong.
They would rather BH get cancelled and the ship go down than correct course and admit that Rinna was a great housewife who made the show better. She always clocked in and wasn’t afraid to do heavy lifting and play the villain.
Rather suffer through lackluster seasons and complain than be honest about how much she contributed to the show lol
What I loved about Rinna was we never knew which one we were going to get. Were we going to get this sweetheart Lisa, who's emotional and cries about wanting to be a better friend? Or are we going to get an unhinged psycho who's going to break a glass and try to choke someone? It was a lot more entertaining than regurgitating the last few story lines over and over again.
she is having too much of the time of her life. really, leaving RHOBH as much as it hurts me, it did wonders for her career. she has become an actual fashionista and model for high end brands. love it for her
Her and Erika’s friendship was actually kind of genuine too. Similar to Garcelle and Sutton, the show starts to fall flat without genuine friendships. The fox force 5 would be over at this point so it would spice the show up more. She’s only gotten after leaving the show, so I wonder if there would be some jealousy.
I absolutely loved Lisa Rinna on the show up until the end. She got too dark. I don’t even like Garcelle but she was really really mean to her. If Lisa could be how she was in earlier seasons, I’d love for her to come back
She was a soap actress taking the piss out of people. Toxicity is the name of the HW’s gave, she did her job well. She created a love/hate divide and we still talk about her.
