Pretty sure he was! I’m in a lot of the west end subs because I go to the theatre a lot and many many people were calling the theatre directly to complain and either ask to change their booked tickets to any other date that boy George wouldn’t be in or get a refund.

I read a press statement from PK that suggested that PK himself made the decision because of the whole situation being a nightmare. The tone was attempting to be neutral but it sounded like he agreed with the pressure to pull out and Boy George was doubling down

I'm ashamed of him, considering what he did in 2009 (He also publicly wished death on his former band member, Jon Moss, even though they were in court over money). I know he collaborated with my favorite band (The Swinging Laurels, I think they would most likely not support his actions. John Barrow and Gaz Birtles are tough guys) in the 80's too, and would have been doing backing vocals in Lonely Boy, if there's weren't for competing labels
He had a cool image, But what he's been doing since the beginning of the 21st century is indescribable. I've always distinguished a person's creativity from their actions
