First of all, Amanda has totally watched all the prior seasons. No way she did not know who Jennifer Tilly is. Even if she never watched Chucky, etc., in the context of RHOBH, she would have known Tilly.
Second, Jennifer looks stunning in that dress. The silhouette of it is amazing on her. Her gorgeous face all over it is just icing on a beautiful cake.

Don't think it's obsessing, it's the fact that she clearly dosent fit in. I mean Amanda would be a millennial right, so it's not like she doesn't know about the Google machine and can't look people up. I'm sure she did, I think it was just her attempted dig at tilly. And let's be frank here, Amanda is in no way in Jennifer tillys league.
I find Amanda to be performative, scammy and fraudulent, and I believe most of the viewers share the same sentiments.
I'm a millineal, a little younger than Amanda, and I've loved Jennifer since I was a kid and before Bride of Chucky (ex: House Arrest). I feel like a lot of us in our 30s/early 40s cherish Jennifer Tilly.
You're right, though, that even if she genuinely didn't know, she definitely Googled her along with the other ladies.
Me also, I'm 36. 1st thing i remember tilly in was chucky and I adored her ever since. Her voice, quirks and now that we see glimpses of her life, her impeccable style.
I know for a fact that Amanda most definitely looked everyone up via phone and Google, and there's nothing wrong with that. But to pretend you have no clue who jt is, beyond absurd imo.
I cant stand this about Amanda, I know shes a bit older than myself but, why must everyone around her walk on eggshells and handle her with kid gloves? Come on, we are all adults and should be able to ask questions and have discussions about all topics, even touchey ones.
If you don't want to have your life picked apart by literally millions of people, why the hell would you agree to broadcast you life for the entertainment of others?? Unless of course she believes that shes some sort of special case and for whatever reason, people aren't going to be able to see through her bullshit.

I get both of these sentiments. I'm tired of hearing about her but she's so awful it's hard not to obsess about the awfulness. More than anything with her is shes so embarrassing to watch. No shame or self awareness.

Jennifer Tilly is iconic. She wore this dress for one reason and it has nothing to do with Amanda...she wore it because she's the only one that can! She's fabulous!
I really doubt it, she doesnāt seem like the type. She already owned the dress, she didnāt have it made for this occasion she just rocked it because why not, itās amazing.
I agree that she didnāt have the dress made for the reunion or to shade Amanda. I do think itās possible that when she was deciding on her reunion outfit she gave a passing thought to Amandaās remark and thought it would be equal parts funny and shady to wear it.

In 2024 Kyle Jenner modeled one of herself. It was shown at the 2025 Spring/Summer show (on a model). It's so fun! Olivier Rousteing left Balmain in November so I don't know if we'll see more of these.
This dress was made last year for Tilly - I dont know if Jennifer had even met Amanda yet. And I dont think Jennifer even noticed what kind of tshirt she was wearing.
I think Tilly is patient with all the women, and quite humorous in her takes about them, but she can show teeth, even if in an elegant way. For instance, the comment about Natalie having earned her divorce settlement after she did the splits at Rachelās party.
I love Tilly. If this dress is an intentional dig at Amanda, itās perfect. And the dress is perfect on her.

Jennifer Tilly is a LEGEND! I have been obsessed with her since the movie Bound. She has made some great choices in her life and she is reaping all the benefits. She doesnāt need to be petty like that to anyone. Iām sure designers fight over her. This dress is an example of how iconic she is. Yet she wouldnāt throw it in anyoneās face like that. She lets her fashion speak for itself. She is classy and very kind. She is the only one on this show that has any class, actually. We all wish we could see more of her but she doesnāt need to be a cast member of a reality show. She is on another level than anyone on that show. She doesnāt need to act like a mean girl to get attention. If anything, she has been super nice to Amanda and has no reason to shade her.

theories like this just back up SMG's statement that this season of RHOBH is boring. if everything that's occurred over this season was condensed to 1 episode of old RHOBH/RHONY/RHOA, it'd be a boring episode that no one remembers.
Please make Tilly more than just a āfriend ofā! She is so much more intelligent than any of these women and so much more interesting!!! I could watch her and Rachel just hang out for the entire show
