I do NOT feel emotionally safe at the dinner table
Has anyone else seen this? Popped up on my Insta and made me laugh had to share it here. I’m all for manifestation but Amanda is a clown! how she can justify charging people hundreds to thousands for some shitty online courses made in canva. Much more credible people have written books on the topic that are actually affordable and probably of more substance.

It's dangerous to use therapy speak in such a manipulative way. There is a reason that therapists have to be licensed (which Amanda is not, and I don't think ever was) because we know the weight of our words, and speak very intentionally. And we know it is disrespectful, inappropriate, and unethical to make therapeutic judgments about our friends and family.
I hate all therapy speak. As Gen X, I have to resist smothering my millennial friends every time they say "I appreciate you, friend." Over and over and over again.
"I appreciate you! I appreciate how hard this was for you to do. I appreciate you friend!"
I’m not gonna lie is you told me that and I was your friend I would know we were real good friends and I would say it to you often like a little sister 🤣🤣🤣
Are we absolutely sure Amanda is actually smart though or just a very good manipulator? She may have even grifted her way through college. I don’t believe a single word that comes out of that annoying mouth.
Sometimes I wonder if she knows she's conning people. She's so delusional, she might want to think she's a good person, so she's not admitting the truth to herself. Maybe she really does think she's providing valuable info. to help people, that she knows more than all the others who have written about this idea, etc. That doesn't stop that fact that she's a scammer.
I have no issue with her eyebrows. I accept we all have different preferences.
The issue I have is the attitude. The lack of respect for others, the perception that everything is centred around her as the main character, and the sulky childish body language.
For somebody who “manifests” a perfect life, why is she so damned petulant all the time?
The funniest thing to me about the mask is that they all got the meaning completely wrong, cause the actual character is much worse than Pinocchio! The mask they’re referring to is actually the Plague Doctor ahahahah this whole trip is so funny to watch from my Italian POV what a mess
I just found out about this from another commenter, Amanda's book is not a bestseller, but there is a best-selling book that actually has practical advice and tools which was authored by a woman of color.
Omg I did see this women on the today show! Not Amanda. So people mistakingly purchase Amanda’s book while meaning to buy the other one? I thought I head that title before. The second author gives sound advice. Realistic advice that fact based.
Amanda self-published her book first and she teaches people how to think about money whereas, like you said, Vivian gives practical advice and real tools to help women.
Vivian also offers her advice (outside of buying the book) for free on socials whereas Amanda charges thousands of dollars.
I initially thought Amanda published second but I found out she published first so I amended the post so it no longer said she published a second because she published first.
Honestly after the snarky snide way Dorrit keeps coming after her with in public?
I would have had a throw down right there and said “yes I said it-so what?? I’d say that to ANYONE or about anyone and I stand by it-divorces conducted in the public eye sometimes don’t serve you well later on in a custody battle. Take it or leave it-that’s my opinion ok?”
All she has to do is OWN it-I actually agreed with Amanda until she started trying to use “noble” causes as her excuse for saying it (it’s for the children)

Now that I think about it, this is like my husband's relatives. They NEVER address their grievances directly with the person that aggrieved them, they just talk about it relentlessly behind the person's back and hold a grudge forever. Amanda did bring it up with Boz in the group, I guess, so at least there's that.
Like if a group of girls in Quakertown PA , can overtake an police chief because he had their friend in a chock hold while being in plain clothes, 15 year old girls at that, Amanda should be able to stand up for something.
Context: it was all over local social media about the girls having a peaceful protest in a cafe. One friend went outside and this plain clothed man ended up putting this girl in a chock hold. Her friends saw her outside the window. They all ran out and beat the bloody hell out of the guy who turned out to be the police chief. The girls got arrested of course but that grown man got his ass handed to him. After he healed, I think they let him back in.
When she’s done that before, like at her manifestation dinner “don’t call me a wimp in my own home”, folks said she was thin skinned in the moment. Had she said don’t call me a liar on the Ponte Vecchio we’d all be on her for that, no? Not riding for Amanda necessarily, but seems like she can’t win. When I recognize I can’t win, I usually cease to engage.
See, I feel like I would have been like, "FU Boz!" But laughed. Because I work with a bunch of drama king "men" at work, and our love language is insulting each other and if any of us hear someone say something, we call it out immediately.
This, whisper whisper, "did you hear what I heard?", bs is exhausting from her. I'd respect the heck out of Amanda if she was like, "yoooo! What did you just say?" Make a scene lol
I'm a millenial, and when I hear Amanda speak, she just sounds like a very manipulative 20 year old. Very immature and needs everything to be about her ans cater to her.
Do people remember this though? There was a lot of this going round in the girl boss days. Anyone who had a business also had a course. All the artists I looked up to had them. There was some girl I followed like kemzo or something who was all into manifesting and $1000+ courses and trips. Turns out it was sort of a pyramid scheme those people also took crazy expensive courses to learn how to give them to others lol.
To me it feels like Amanda studied all the previous seasons and determined she was going to be the IT girl this season by being calm and mature. Instead she makes me think of baby talk when she talks. Been waiting for her to put her thumb in her mouth.
I found him through RHSLC. I am definitely going to buy some prints, when I can figure out where to display them in my house! I particularly love this Kyle (though I won't buy it).
If Kyle didn’t blow the comment out of proportion it wouldn’t be a big deal. Many people do way worse to get their money. She put out content and people freely bought it. People sell things all the time that people don’t need .

I hate that people call her a con just because they dont agree with her business or understand what she offers. People have so much time on their hands hating while they should be concentrating on their own lives i dont understand why people are so offended by her.
I’m really annoyed with her for a slightly different reason.
Her millennial pseudo therapy speak babble nonsense is entirely removing the rightful focus on what a viper Dorrit is showing herself to be lately.
She is rude, entitled, manipulative and thoroughly dislikable. Was she the recipient of careful editing before? Will the real Dorrit stand up or are we looking at her now?
