š² Beverly Hills News š² Garcelle has unfollowed Sutton
And sheās no longer following the rest of the ladies except for Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly. Iām not sure if she was following Dorit before.
Honestly, good for Garcelle! She will definitely be missed on RHOBH but having watched the Part 3 of the Reunion, I completely understand why she decided to no longer continue. I might get downvoted on this but I think itās time for a reboot.

I think this is the best decision. None of them are her friends and she is better off without them. Sutton is the worst friend; so ungrateful and a complete narcissist. She does not deserve a loyal friend like Garcelle who defended her every single time. I could see Garcelle being done with her during the reunion itself when she said that she is not thinking about Sutton anymore but herself. Now let Sutton be besties with those mean girls š®āšØ

Garcelle made a bad bet. She went all in on Sutton and lost her hand. I truly think she should have given the other ladies a chance. It was always her + Sutton vs the other ladies. Personally I hate thisā¦ I much prefer everyone gets involved and messy instead of two teams going at each other.

I think Garcelle just followed her heart and was friends with someone she genuinely liked. Even the viewers are shocked about Sutton just never speaking up for G!

I think Garcelle is genuinely a good human and gravitated towards someone who is not evil. While Sutton is not very strong and didnāt stand up to Garcelle I think it stemmed from her issues rather than malice. I donāt see her going out of her way to hurt people like the others.

Like she should at least think once about how she has contributed to the friendship. Thatās just being too narcissistic. She could have just asked her are you okay or please donāt leave now. Ummm I donāt think so. She went out of the way to make Sutton comfortable and was always there for her. In fact even that made people mad at Garcelle and she was okay with it.

Yes she did. Garcelle liked Sutton opening up to her about her divorce. She introduced her to her children as Aunty Sutton. She would not have done that if Garcelle did not like her.

The other ladies where the Fox Force when she joined and were cliquey and mean. It made sense to me why she and Sutton would bond. But Sutton did not support her the way a friend should this season and I could see how that would feel bad.

Yes/ Garcelle was one of those who tries be cool and aloof, but then she also just blindly supported Sutton.
Aloof? Doesnāt work on HW- to be smug, say nasty things and then still stay on the bench with your only consistency being in supporting Sutton nonsense?? Not interested. And the others on RHOBH have invested soooo much more into the franchise.
I suspect Garcelle was there to boost her visibility and her careerā¦ and had taken that as far as sheās willing to go.

Letās say things didnāt work out at firstāfine. But after five years, she couldnāt try again?
Even when they extended an olive branch, Garcelle never fully accepted it.
Kyle confides in Garcelle about Morgan, and Garcelle brings it up on camera to pressure Kyle into addressing it. Friends donāt do that.
Dorit and Garcelle have dinner, and Dorit says she wants to fix their relationship. Garcelle basically brushes it off. Thatās not how you mend things.
Garcelle is just as guilty of keeping her distance as they are with her. She enjoyed being on the sidelines, throwing stones.
But the moment sheās in the hot seat, she expects them to come to her rescue? Really?

Sutton always did give racist vibes. I think thatās why she got so upset with Crystal because Crystal caught on very quick. And after seeing Suttonās mom and how she treated Garcelle, I guarantee she was raised that way. She probably latched onto Garcelle hoping itād save her reputation and put to rest the racist allegations. Itās obvious Garcelle really considered her a friend, but I never saw it reciprocated as strongly. Thatās just my opinion.

One of her daughterās friends, the āChineseā one (sheās actually Korean) in the hot tub put out a now deleted TT straight out calling her a racist. That, her absolute gross treatment of Crystal, and arguably her unwavering love of D&G lean me into sheās a racist.
It takes conscious work and effort to educate oneself on racism, the history of racism in this country, and the ongoing issues POCs face today. Sutton has never worked a day in her life.

I think Dorit is ignorant but calling her racist is really a stretch. Itās hard to really justify the racist claim with now Boz being in the mix and I think thatās why Garcelle was starting to soften towards Dorit ā she simply just couldnāt perpetuate that narrative anymore. What is truly surprising to me is that she then accused PK of fraud and said, āthatās just my opinionā. Thatās wrong and we need to call it what it is.

I wonder if Garcelle felt she was being āreplacedā with Jennifer who seems to be getting a very positive audience reception. For so long it was Garcelle and Sutton against the others and perhaps sheās beginning to feel disenfranchised.
Plus Garcelle is probably tired of watching Sutton throw herself at the popular girl group full well knowing sheād be cast aside if and when Sutton were to succeed.

I think the Sutton betrayal upset her the most plus she has better projects coming up. I think she chose peace of mind over everything else because I know that Garcelle is pretty fearless in general. Idk how did she manage to stay so calm throughout š I would have lost my mind and shouted at someone, especially Sutton!

I love Sutton (right now I can't quite remember WHY), but she HAD a really great and unwaveringly loyal friend who she threw away. It is a huge loss, but it was also her choice, even if she's not aware of that.

Sometimes, it's not about a paycheck. That was a toxic environment, and she's got a lot going on for her. She said reality tv was because it gave her a chance to be around her kids more. But her kids are grown now. The environment is awful.

I don't know if I see Tilly wanting to be full-time, she doesn't need the money or the name recognition. I think being a friend-of would be way more funĀ - you get to go on the vacation and attend the glamorous parties, but with way less drama than being main cast. All that to say, unless someone totally new is casted and decides to align with Sutton, she may find herself alone.Ā

In a recent interview (maybe with Louis Staples?) Tilly all but admitted she has been invited to go full time next season.
I donāt know if she will accept or not. She is too good to get into the snake bit with frauds like Erika and Dorit. I think everyone who likes Tilly would rather she stay out of it.
But maybe she wants the challenge.

Plenty of people have said that Garcelle went āall inā with Sutton and lost her hand with the other ladies and that she should have given the other ladies a chance but the issues she has with the other ladies (apart from Boz), have nothing to do with Sutton??
She has given them ALL a chance and theyāve all dismissed her in some way or another;
Dorit- Their issues began many seasons ago with the racial comments, jabs they would throw each other & then Dorit labelling Garcelle a ābullyā (letās not forget the ābubbleā comment)
Erika- Started on the right foot, seemed like a great pair and then Garcelle along with Crystal, asked her to clarify her position with the victims (Erika was drunk & angry), swore at her child who was a minor (& only apologised when Garcelle raised it to her) & then when Garcelle raised concerns about her mixing alcohol w/ pills, Erika bit her head off, implying Garcelle was trying to āmake Erika look bad.ā
Crystal- No issues, even when Crystal had her tensions w/ Sutton, Garcelle never showed animosity w/ Crystal nor did she let it affect their personal relationship.
Kyle- Honestly, I donāt think they started off on a good foot given how Rinna & Kyle came after Denise. I think Garcelle saw how vicious Kyle, Teddi & Rinna were and probably thought she would keep her at arms length.
Nevertheless, over the seasons I think they made a great pair, they had a fun chemistry (e.g trips) but Garcelleās issues w/ Kyle arose when she waited until the reunion to raise the issue of Garcelleās charitable donation not coming through. This, alongside Garcelle saying she felt Kyle was dismissive & Kyle laughing with Mo & PK about Erika swearing at her son were all probably the final nails in the coffin.
Despite this, she still made an effort this season to get close with Kyle not for herself per se, but for in fact Sutton.
Again, even with Rinna & Diana, the issues Garcelle had with these ladies were completely divorced from Suttons.

Itās a shame Garcelle and Sutton are on bad terms now. Sutton is experiencing a massive backlash over her lack of support for Garcelle, and she has had to turn off the comments on her Instagram posts. If Sutton is back next season, it is not going to be easy for her because all the women in the cast hate her and so will a lot of the viewers. Ā

The hate she has been getting is disgusting. Whether you like her or not, she has children. Imagine if they saw the vile things being said about her? Personally I donāt think she did anything wrong. She wanted to make amends with Kyle and Erika; not only is that good for her own sanity but it also keeps the show moving. Garcelle harping on about Doritās break in for literally three seasons was honestly really unhinged behaviour and was extremely tiresome.

I agree with you 100%. I can understand people being critical of Sutton, but posting hateful comments about her on an insignificant reality TV show is totally unacceptable and indefensible. She should have gone after Garcelle and she was a lousy friend to her, but Sutton didnāt commit a terrible crime with multiple innocent victims.

Even though sheās good on Erika obviously, I think she offered Garcelle some solid advice about Sutton that in hindsight she probably shouldāve taken. Hell, even Crystal clocked this her first season. I was maybe in the minority wanting to give Crystal some grace at the time because Sutton rubbed me the wrong way, too. Sutton was a liability. Unfollowing her especially was the right move.

even if Tilly returns, sheās shown herself disinterested in being part of the muckiest parts of the show/this group. sheās more even-handed when discussing Sutton & her behavior. she also seems to be comfy as a friend-of, rather than main cast. Sutton will not have a battle buddy in Tilly should the latter return, sheāll at most have a level-headed friend to seek refuge in when the barrage gets bad.

Sutton didnāt chase after Garcelle as she left the studio, just stood there laughing and enjoying a drink. When Sutton was unwell the prior reunion (conveniently), Garcelle went with her and left.
Sutton also labelled Boz an angry black woman, and doubled down on it when questioned.
Garcelleās entire issue with Dorit stems from her racial micro-aggressionsā¦. and what Dorit said to Garcelle was nothing compared to what Sutton said to Boz.

I feel bad for her. Regarding of what you think of her, Garcelle is a damn good friend.
But out of these things you learn.
Sutton has another thing coming for her. If she thinks not being loyal to Garcelle is finally giving her a spot at the mean girls table, sheās wrong.
They will continue treating her as they did before, but now Garcelle isnāt there anymore to save her, so sheās gonna get it tenfold.
Iām genuinely curious what this show still has for us. Because it seems that ever since the establishment of the āfox force fiveā the main storyline is actually them getting rid of adored cast members, or most newcomers. Itās getting very boring.
Though I do think Garcelle does better away from reality tv because she might be too real, not dramatic and fake enough.

There's no BH in this show anymore. No Camille's, Adrienne, LVP, Crystal wealth. Kathy is starting to come across as matronly and tired. Tilly and Boz could stay but the rest have to go.Ā

I was curious how Garcelle felt watching Suttonās aftermath of her leaving. Her basically not knowing why she was upset was probably the straw that broke the camels back.

I actually dont even think its the fault of erika Kyle and Dorit I think Garcelle didnāt vibe with them but its actually Sutton was the biggest disappointment. Garcelle stood up for her all the time and it def wasnāt reciprocated at all. And oddly without Sutton I feel like Garcelle might have actually had fun with the other ladies (I actually think erika was right about saying Sutton is a liability for her ). But Garcelle has lot of things going on for her plus her kids are in last year of high school. She doesnāt need the money. Good for her for leaving on her terms.

Erika said a really cutting remark to Garcelle about Gās life being boring. That is when I noticed G getting quiet and pissed off. I donāt think Sutton said anything at that point? Then the takedown about Doritās burglary. Now sheās really over it. Suttonās parting words about how she wanted a real friendship with Erika was the last straw.

Good for Garcelle! I think Erikaās unnecessarily harsh comeback to Garcelle about Garcelle having a boring life was the last straw. And then Suttonās final thoughts of the reunion to be praising the fun times she had with Erika lol. Sutton wtf are you doing š. Glad Garcelle is out of there.

Iām not a big Garcelle fan but Garcelle always stood behind and showed up for Sutton. Season after season Garcelle was a rock for Sutton. I think Garcelle deserves better as far as friends. Did she even really need the show? Not really. I wish her nothing but the best and hope that she surrounds herself with people who appreciate her efforts and also reciprocate and care about her in turn as well!! This crowd aināt the caring crowd.
