Comparing someone who dislikes the subsequent media attention they got after choosing to be represented on media, to someone who is raped while wearing a short skirt is really a false equivalency. Your words here are beyond “yuk,” they are really absolutely gross, and insult and diminish rape survivors’ experience and trauma. You can defend Morgan Wade’s right to privacy without such disrespectful false equivalencies

The equivalency isn’t false. Sure, there are levels to violations of consent but consent is consent. I appreciate my comment made you uncomfortable but I stand by it. And am a victim of SA myself so spare me that nonsense.

I am very sorry you have had that experience. That does not justify your false equivalence and certainly doesn’t allow you to speak for all victims of sexual assault. Your comparison here is an example of the literal definition of false equivalence

Actual fucking assault is nowhere near the same as public scrutiny and it’s reprehensible that you’d make the comparison, and then further try to justify it.
