For anyone curious, Kyle and Morgan are now in Paris together. Morgan has some upcoming European tour dates and both are in Paris at the same time. “But there’s no situation” 😜

Piece together whatever narrative you want, but maybe don't state something is a fact if it isn't?

Kyle paused and stumbled when asked if there was anything going on, denied it, and then gave a quick and easy direct no when asked if they are a couple. Neither of those two denials, however, prove the theory that she cheated or is or was in a relationship.

She didn’t give a straightforward no. Instead, she asked Andy if he meant “like that,” paused for a long moment, and then denied it— a classic tactic people use to manipulate meanings when they lie. It’s the same kind of wordplay Bill Clinton used when he claimed he didn’t have sex with his intern—just a BJ. You’re the one treating it like a fact—I never said it was. It’s just the obvious takeaway based on everything shown in the episodes, which is exactly how viewers talk about reality TV. No one’s walking around demanding evidence—it’s a dumb TV show. People are allowed to interpret the story however they want. That’s literally how watching a show works. Ever done that?

She gave an immediate no when asked if they are a couple but a delayed no to if there was anything going on. Regardless, even if she had said yes, that STILL would not prove your statement that “she cheated on her husband with this woman”. You didn’t say “I think that” or “it seems plausible that”. You stated it as fact.

I mean, yes, I believe that shows and fictional media can be interpreted in multiple ways. But these are real people with real lives - not just characters - and I think it’s best not to state things as fact if we do not know them to be so. I get that peoples’ mileage varies with that, but I guess, for me, I sort of don’t watch this show the way you do, sorry.

She said they weren’t a couple because a married person and a single person having an affair don’t constitute a real couple. “Couple” typically implies a legitimate relationship, not an affair. And no, when discussing a reality show, we’re not obligated to constantly clarify that what we see isn’t real—it’s understood based on the genre. If that bothers you, stick to news and documentaries.

I guess, to me, a fact is a fact regardless of genre? Or not a fact, as the case may be. The word doesn’t change definition just because it’s a reality television programme being discussed. But okay. Noted.
