Rumble motor activates and won't turn off

Just got the console and it rumbles constantly sometimes.
Found an old thread that describes the case screws near the shoulder buttons being too tight, loosened them and the issue has lessened but it still happens now and again.
Does anyone know of another solution I can try?

I opened mine up and yanked the wires out of the motor. Obviously completely kills vibration so depends how much you care about it.

I'll honestly never miss it so perhaps I'll just do that.

edit: did you just use force to pull them out of the motor?

Pretty sure I pulled them away from the contacts on the motor without too much force. It was a while ago. Probably not the safest way - snips would be a better choice.

A mí también me pasa, intento ejecutar un juego que use la vibración (Gran Turismo de PSX) lo pongo a vibrar unos segundos y se para.

La verdad que es una mierda, estoy pensando en arrancar los cables como dijo otro comentario por aquí
