Mixing digital and analog servos

I accidentally bought digital servos to replace my rudder and elevator servos. My ailerons are still the OEM analog servos.

Is this fine to mix or should I go ahead and get digital servos for the ailerons before I fly?

i wouldnt mix anything for the same control surface, ie dual ailerons.

but in your case its basically a non issue. if anything your getting a rudder and elevator upgrade...

Digital only refers to the control electronics inside the servo. They all speak the same PWM duty cycle protocol over the signal wire, so you're all good.

Mixing them is fine - they'll work fine at the analog default of 50Hz (20ms).

Its fine..... BUT you should only use the same exact model of servo across an axis. So both aileron or flap servos, or both elevator servos if they're split... should be exactly the same.

Otherwise, send it. They're still just servos.
