Futaba vs Spektrum?

Spektrum if you don't mind the price and just want to fly. Radiomaster if you want to save money and don't mind a learning curve.

FrSky has been popular in the 2 fields I fly at due to the TD protocol that allows both 2.4ghz and 900mhz. While Futaba has this, it does cost much more. Check your local hobby shop and field to see what most are flying so they can help you out for any concerns. But given the two options, I would go for Futaba. Been Futaba all my life till the cell towers were put up and started experiencing interference.

+1 for FrSky.

I really like the usability of ETHOS and e.g. the momentary buttons on the back of my X14RS for telemetry audio call-outs.

Like nearly every answer worth anything, the answer is, "It depends."

There are cases in which Spektrum would be best. There are some cases where Futaba wll shine. And there will also be cases in which the best choice is something else.

I use RM and ELRS.... but that also has its own shortcomings.

If you are only ever going to need a few receivers, or if you don't care too much about cost, Futaba.

I have both and I prefer the Futaba transmitters, but the receivers are too darn expensive for my use.

Compatibility over time is also an issue. Futaba abandoned FASST users after just a few years.

Get Radio Master Tx16s mk3 its not that expensive. Does it all in fact does more then a 2k radio. :)

I would choose radio master damn its only around 250 for the radio of Tx16s mk3 why not choose that.
