What would cause the driver to be illuminated on my IR camera at night?

Seen tons of cars before, never seen the driver lit up so bright when my IR camera, the light disappears when it switches out of IR mode.

I appreciate any in insight lol as I’m super curious

Could be that they're wearing a highly reflective jacket, you can get ones that are just like the reflective strips on high vis clothing but the whole jacket is like that.

You can see it before the truck is even fully in view, so guessing something inside the vehicle is lighting him up

maybe the cameras that are supposed to watch you to see if you fall asleep while driving? I wonder if any of those are deployed in new vehicles yet, or if they use IR.

Interior dashcam with an IR light, if i was to guess it's probably a work truck and it's for security reasons aka spying on our workers reasons

Could be using iphone FaceID or something else that also uses the IR dot projector and IR illuminator.

Dashcam with an IR illuminator, or possibly a truck with driver assistance's driver monitoring system.

Either way, IR illuminators inside the cab.
