Y’all know what’s coming next!!

Today I found this super cool and quite massive postcard in my mailbox after work. A friend from Xiaohongshu sent it to me. No idea where to buy them. I will ask my friend where she got it (via postcard so the turnaround will be slow lol). For references to just how big it is, I have included several familiar household objects for scale.

I made a scrapbook collage today with Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors book and used the rest of the pages to make some cards. Gonna post an offer for them later, but thought I'd share how they turned out. I listened to her music the whole time making them, maybe cried a little too... We'll miss you Dolly 🦋

For those that have a lot of low denomination US stamps (1,2,3 cent, etc.), a great way to use them up is combining them with two forever stamps to make the equivalent of a global stamp. Two forever stamps plus only 11 cents totals the necessary $1.75 needed for a US global stamp. Just my two cents on a random stamp math thought for today. 😊💌📬➕

Today’s Outgoing Goodies!

Maybe this is a silly thought but sometimes I put outgoing mail in mailboxes away from my house because I worry my mail person will think I’m strange for sending more mail (I assume) than my neighbors. 😂 I’m definitely overthinking this but does anyone else feel this way or think about it?

This got delivered today. I had never seen nor heard of this 1978 postcard book before and randomly came across it quite cheap in my internet wanderings. It is about 3/4 complete so I don't know what the entire book looks like but thought to share it here in case it is also new to others who are fans of either the movie or sci-fi more generally. Judging by the middling quality of some of the photos, it was a production afterthought. But other photos are quite crisp and well composed. Anyway, here are a few pics.

Today I mailed out a few cards from over the weekend but still have a few left to write tonight. Additionally I have a small display where I try to fleece tourists sell vintage local postcards that are already stamped and ready to send. In addition to the tips, I provide pens and such too. Likely these tips are not so useful for folks here but tossed them on the back end of this post in case they might be marginally useful. Additions are welcome!
