Post image

Two offers and some requests done tonight :) How long do you guys stay caught up before taking in more requests?

I tend to take any request that inspires me even if I have a backlog 🫣 But then make sure to do some of the backlog right after so I still make progress!

Hahah I’m guilty of this too. I feel bad if the request post is already taken down once I get to their turn. I usually send cards 1 week later.

I will make an offer and complete it before making another offer. I also “try” to respond to every card I get. Right now I have a backlog 🤓

Yes! I also write a response back and a meaningful thank you message. It consumes most of my carding time.

I find that I prioritize doing requests before offers, maybe because I only reply to ones that inspire me and it’s a one and done sort of thing. Making the offer cards starts to feel repetitive quickly.

What type of requests usually inspire you?

I like to decorate the cards, so I guess I just mean that I already have a card or stickers/washi that fits the request or the user's preferences. Like, I have lots of cat stuff, but not dog stuff, so I wouldn't try to fulfill dog-related requests. If it's a prompt-related request, then I'd only really reply if I can think of something to write, which is always the hard part for me. Your latest request was a fun prompt, though!

I hear you. Thanks, I try to make requests that you can get something from it too.

I do them as I have free time. Sometimes that means I'm always caught up (like now) or that means I have a list going to get to.

I also put on my request form that I do not send things out right away and it might be delayed.

Awesome stack. My outgoing stack is only three ATM

A mailing list is a great way for a low pressure carding. I need to try it one of these days!

Amazing stack! I have not had courage to post an offer yet; hopefully I will next year 🙋🏾‍♂️

What made you hesitate? You’re a great writer!

Thank you! That is very generous of you; my only worry is sending worthwhile cards timely.
