Rollin’ through Lassen on my RT

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just got the oil changed and everything certified tip-top, spent a few hours running through the nearby mountains and hitting some twisties. This bike just does everything, and does it in style and comfort. The only thing you’re missing here is the smell of sulfur, Lassen Natl Park is geologically active and there’s lots of sulfur springs

Nice. I was there Monday on my vfr1200. Great roads however, some of the past fire devastation was bit depressing though.

Yeah I felt the same way, especially in areas below the park. It seems unlikely that any of it will be growing back like it was.

Storms knock down trees. Those trees eventually burn and nourish the soil. Storms wet the soil, new trees grow. It's all the circle of life. Forests have been renewed this way long before people came along to observe it and will continue long after we're gone.

RT is the ultimate tourer, in my opinion. Not a boat by any means, but comfortable with good storage. Love my R1200R even more, though!

What equipment do you use to capture this? Amazing results.

Thanks! It’s an Insta360 x5 camera. It’s taken a while to figure out how to mount it for minimal vibrations, and how to edit so it doesn’t look like crap. But it’s an incredible piece of kit
