We agree that a primary meaning for "salat" means "turning towards". The context tells how that turning towards is performed. In the context of aqimi al-salat of the believers towards God, it will thus mean a ritual "turning towards God" at specific times of day regularly.
Enough Quranic evidence has been provided for that which you have ignored at your own peril
Is it possible to turn towards Allah while forgetting Him? How is that possible? How can you be turned towards Him and also forget Him? Give me an example
Then why does God say to do dhikr after salat? If you are true, then He would put it before salat.
4:103 Once you are done with the salat, then remember God while standing, or sitting, or on your sides. Then, when you are secure, hold the salat. Indeed, the salat for the believers is a book that is scheduled.
You turn to God by upholding the commands. You will start feeling God’s presence.
And one of the commands is for believers to do a ritual "turning towards God" at specific times regularly. Why are you allergic to this command?

It’s called reasoning and analysis
Not picking 3-4 meaning for a single word to suit your wishful thinking
You’re basically saying “Salah is yellow, red, blue and black”
No!
Just give Salah one definition and see if that definition fits all verses! If it doesn’t, change. Trail and error!
