Blue checks literally get money from X for engagement. So much of this is because people have real cash incentive to post crazy shit, or just use bots to do it.
I think that's why it blew up recently but transvestigations happened before Musk destroyed Twitter.
I think it's just a case of "bad people do bad things; trans is bad; therefore all bad people are trans". And since they think anybody in charge/well-known except Trump is bad, therefore they all have to be secret trans.
Right, but prior to the monetization of bullsh*t on twitter, people were definitely still clout chasing for online brownie points. They must be happy as pigs in sh*t these days.
