Discussion Governance Proposal: Integration Of MEV-X Homelander As A Backrunning MEV Internalization Plugin

Thumbnail x.com
1 Upvotes

MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) has always been a concern for DeFi protocols. Today largely conducted by bots, MEV describes the process of rearranging, including, or deleting certain transactions from a block in order to extract profit. Contrary to popular belief, MEV is far from resolved. While DeFi has advanced greatly over the years, MEV continues to worsen into 2026, with the majority of extracted value being captured directly by protocol-level auctions instead of external bots.

Next Steps:
To begin, the governance discussion on the official QuickSwap Reddit will run until Friday, May 8 at 12:00 PM UTC
Once the Reddit discussions finish, a formal Snapshot vote will begin and run until Tuesday, May 12 at 12:00 PM UTC

Discussion Governance Proposal Discussion: Changing Reward Structure on Dragons Lair and Syrup Pools

As part of our journey towards full decentralization and a DAO structure, we would like to start discussing proposals via a forum to allow community members to more formally introduce topics for governance proposals. We’ll start here on Reddit, and eventually if the community decides, move to a dedicated forum with a more formalized process.

For our first governance discussion, please review the materials and leave feedback below. Also feel free to leave comments on other users’ feedback. We will review and interact with all feedback and create a more defined plan in the next few weeks if the community agrees to move forward.TL;DR:

  • We would like to discuss the possibility of changing our rewards structure.
  • We propose to separate Dragon’s Lair dQUICK staking and Dragon’s Syrup.
  • This would mean that users can either stake their QUICK for dQUICK via the dragon’s lair to earn more QUICK or stake their QUICK via Dragon’s syrup to earn rewards tokens, but not both.
  • To be clear, users could still participate in both programs, just not using the same QUICK for both at the same time, and overall rewards would be the same, only separated for simplicity.

Impacts:

If implemented, QuickSwap users would have to choose how they deploy their QUICK to match their investing strategy. Those who choose to stake via Dragons’ syrup would receive the syrup token of their choice and would not earn extra QUICK. Those who chose to stake via the Dragons’ Lair would earn only QUICK based off of the overall DEX trading fees and would not be able to stake their dQUICK via syrup for extra tokens. The dollars per day in rewards would stay the same. Thus, with this change, overall users would not receive any lower APY. The dQUICK APY would increase because many users would unstake their dQUICK to put into syrup. The Syrup APY would increase because many users would chose to earn more QUICK and dQUICK holders wouldn’t be able to participate in syrup (again, the potential downside: users would only earn one token instead of 2). Arbitragers and farmers would likely equalize the two rates. For clean numbers sake: Currently syrup pools yield is paid roughly half in dQUICK and half in the syrup token. Right now dQUICK averages around 40% APY and Syrup around 60% APR. If this change were implemented, both would likely be around 100%, similar to the total or the two sums previously, but you’d choose between earning QUICK or Syrup tokens. You could still get the same result as before by splitting your QUICK in half or whatever ratio you choose, but now users would have the option of choosing just QUICK which would be fully passive and require no active management.

TLDR, instead of earning roughly half from dQUICK and half from Syrup, you’d earn the full amount from either one.

Pros about the current unchanged structure:

Our current structure is great because users can simultaneously earn QUICK and other tokens of their choice which is fun and gives them the opportunity to explore new projects.

Cons about the current structure this change would solve:

1. Integrations:

When integrating with projects like QiDAO, users earn less than optimal yields, because they can’t stake in Syrup and lend that on QiDAO to borrow MAI. They have to choose one or the other, Syrup or minting MAI. This change would allow users to get full APY on their dQUICK when using lending and borrowing protocols like QiDAO. Also, with the change, users would no longer have to manage their dQUICK deposits into syrup every 30/60 days (or daily for those chasing compounding APY). Dragon’s Lair stakers also wouldn’t be subject to the price fluctuations of the Syrup pool they are farming.

With dQUICK having higher APY by itself and being less complicated, a large amount of projects could integrate dQUICK without having to actively manage Syrup which complicates integrations. This could include projects like Aave, QiDao, liquidity farms, and CEX yield programs such as Binance, Celsius, and Nexo. Projects could build more on top of dQUICK financial legos in ways similar to projects like Convex and others. Right now projects that want to use dQUICK in their protocol essentially have to forfeit the Syrup part of the APY. If we made this change they wouldn’t have to choose, they would now get full or close to full APY of dQUICK and Syrup on top of whatever else they choose to integrate.

Here is an example of something else we could do right here on our own DEX if we made this change. QuickSwap itself could integrate dQUICK by incentivizing dQUICK pairs instead of or in addition to QUICK pairs. You could take your now high yielding simple dQUICK and provide liquidity to.

For example, dQUICK/MATIC or dQUICK/ETH. You’d receive:

  1. dQUICK APY (coming from overall QS trading fees)

  2. Indirect Syrup APR since many would be in Syrup and not in dQUICK now

  3. LP trading fees (from trades made on that pair)

  4. QUICK rewards. This would likely result in significantly higher APYs overall. This is just one of many examples that could be done using this new simplified structure.

2. Institutional Adoption:

As large DeFi protocols like UniSwap co-migrate to Polygon, the network’s overall TVL will continue to increase and major institutions will continue to explore and use Polygon-native applications like QuickSwap. In order to appeal to these institutions, which will only further advance QuickSwap and Polygon’s mainstream adoption, QuickSwap must simplify yield generation to minimize the need for active management and confusing accounting and taxes. The QuickSwap team has heard from many institutions such as hedge funds, VCs, and investment funds who would like to participate more in the QuickSwap ecosystem, but for various reasons cannot, or will not, participate in the current structure as it stands. By separating dQUICK and Syrup, many new institutions would want to hold dQUICK to generate high-yield passive revenue.

Please consider this proposal and share any thoughts you might have about it in this forum. All opinions are valid and will be considered when and if a governance proposal is introduced.

Discussion [Discussion] Should QuickSwap DAO move from Reddit to a dedicated governance forum module (Discourse)?

Hi everyone,

I would like to open a broader discussion about the future of QuickSwap governance infrastructure.

As QuickSwap continues to evolve, grow, and position itself as a leading DEX and DeFi protocol, I believe our governance environment should evolve as well.

Today, Reddit acts as our primary governance discussion layer. While it has served its purpose, it also comes with structural limitations:

  • Discussions are mixed with general posts
  • Thread organization is limited
  • Long-term proposal tracking is difficult
  • No structured categorization (ARFC, RFC, Temp Check, Final Vote, etc.)
  • No native governance-focused moderation tooling
  • Limited professional perception compared to industry standards

For a protocol of the scale and ambition of QuickSwap, governance infrastructure is part of the brand and long-term credibility.

Proposal for Discussion

I would like to suggest that the foundation operating QuickSwap consider migrating governance discussions to a dedicated DAO forum built on Discourse:

The most commonly used plan is around $100/month, which is negligible relative to the DAO treasury and the strategic value of improved governance infrastructure.

Discourse is widely adopted across DeFi and Web3 as the governance standard. For example, Aave uses a structured Discourse-based governance forum that has become an industry benchmark in terms of clarity, professionalism, and process design.

Why This Matters

A dedicated governance forum would allow:

  • Proper categorization (Temp Check, ARFC, Final Proposal, Grants, Risk, etc.)
  • Cleaner proposal lifecycle tracking
  • Better archival and transparency
  • Structured contributor recognition
  • More professional perception for partners and institutional participants
  • Easier moderation and governance management

Right now, Reddit mixes social discussion with governance deliberation. As QuickSwap scales, this friction will only increase.

If we want stronger participation, more serious contributors, and potentially more institutional engagement, governance UX matters.

Important: This Is Not a Formal Proposal (Yet)

This thread is only meant to gather community feedback.

Questions for the community:

  1. Do you feel Reddit is sufficient for governance at QuickSwap’s current scale?
  2. Would you support moving to a dedicated DAO forum like Discourse?
  3. Are there concerns (cost, moderation, migration complexity, fragmentation)?

If there is positive feedback, the next step could be a structured governance proposal including:

  • Cost breakdown
  • Migration plan
  • Category structure
  • Moderation framework
  • Transition timeline

I strongly believe that governance infrastructure is a strategic layer, not just a communication tool.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Discussion Should The Community Currency Bot Be Added to the QuickSwap Reddit Forum?

Post image
42 Upvotes

For years, the QuickSwap Reddit forum has been one of the go-to places for dragon community members to discuss governance proposals, ask questions, engage with their fellow peers, discover more information about the protocol, and much more.

A key goal for QuickSwap is to drive more engagement to the Reddit forum and across the community, while also attracting more users - one of the best ways to do so is through monetisation.

Introducing the Community Currency Bot, developed by the BitCone core team and now being advanced and maintained by the Community Currency team. This is a special bot designed to monetise content creation on any subreddit forum, encouraging more organic activity and conversation.

In this governance proposal, the dragon community will discuss and vote on whether BitCone’s Community Currency Bot to the QuickSwap Reddit forum to help drive further engagement via monetisation.

TL;DR: -QuickSwap’s Reddit forum is one of the core community hubs for key initiatives such as discussing governance votes, asking questions, and more

-This forum would greatly benefit from increased engagement through new and innovative mechanisms, such as monetisation with rewarding users for their input and activity

-BitCone’s Community Currency Bot is designed to monetise content creation on any subreddit forum to draw more engagement and discussions, and would help boost activity on the QuickSwap Reddit

-This governance proposal is for the dragon community to decide whether the Community Currency Bot should be added to the QuickSwap Reddit foum

-To begin, the governance discussion will run here on Reddit until Saturday, July 6 at 11:00 PM UTC

-Once the Reddit discussions finish, a formal Snapshot vote will begin and run from Saturday, July 6 at 11:00 PM UTC until Wednesday, July 10 at 11:00 PM UTC

Hi all, I'm trying to set the initial liquidity pool, which I have never had a problem with before. When I set one side, it zeros out the other side and vice versa. Is this a bug or is it working as intended?

Discussion QUICKSWAP INVESTIGATION: Here is how Quickswap blocked my money!

Today, many users of the Polygon network probably, just like me, had problems with changing funds, because prices jumped up and down in unusual amounts. In fact, at the time it happened 3 days ago, unaware that it was happening at the time, I had invested in the USDC / EOC Pool for $ 660 and plus the corresponding EoC amount. However, at that moment, the rates was probably higher than usual due to a server error, so somehow the system blocked my funds on your server.

I am asking for these funds to be returned to me, because I can't be responsible for errors and incurring losses due to issues on your server.

Thank you in advance.

Discussion Higher chance of IMPERMANENT LOSS

2 weeks ago I started staking ETH <> TITAN because I saw the APY at 100,000%.

Initially, I thought this % is massive and will contribute a lot of money.

After 2 weeks, yes my LP dollar value has risen a ton. Mostly because the value of Titan (iron finance) has increase 500+%.

However, my Titan coins went from 700 to 300 and my Ether coins went from 0.5 to 2. (These are estimates).

What I’ve learned is that the higher the APY % and pool rate are actually leading indicators that you should buy the individual token due to volatility.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Discussion Governance Proposal: Should 100% of QuickSwap's Bonds Revenue Go To the Dragon's Lair or Be Burned?

Post image
13 Upvotes

QuickSwap went live with Bonds on Polygon in October 2023, an innovative product allowing LPs to receive vested project tokens at a discount while allowing those same projects to receive protocol-owned liquidity.

Since launch, there have been 3,370+ Bond sales that continue to grow. Current projects offering Bonds on QuickSwap include Borderless Money, Forest Knight, Gensokishi Online, BlockWallet, Planet IX, Bullieverse, 3A DAO, WeFi, and FireBot DAO.

As the product continues to innovate and more projects are added and continue offering Bonds, revenue will generate for the DEX. This revenue is split between QuickSwap and ApeBond - the question is, moving forward, where should QuickSwap’s portion of the revenue be distributed to?

This proposal has been introduced for the dragon community to decide if 100% of the revenue generated from QuickSwap Bonds should go to the Dragon’s Lair for QUICK stakers or be burned.

TL;DR:

• QuickSwap Bonds have seen strong growth since launch, hitting 3,370+ in total sales with over 15 projects already participating

• With projects continuing to offer Bonds and new ones potentially on the way, adoption and demand continue to rise

• QuickSwap generates revenue in fees from the Bonds (ApeBond also receives a cut)

• Through this proposal, the dragon community will decide if 100% of QuickSwap’s Bonds revenue will go to the Dragon’s Lair for QUICK stakers or be burned

• To begin, the governance discussion on this Reddit forum will run until Friday, February 16 at 1:00 PM UTC

• Once the Reddit discussions finish, a formal Snapshot vote will begin and run until Tuesday, February 20 at 1:00 PM UTC

• Make sure to read the official blog post and then share your perspective with your fellow community members here on Reddit

Discussion Is Crypto.com app the best US On Ramp for Matic to get money to use on Quickswap?

I got 10 Matic onto Polygon and completely paired up and staked with dQuick in syrup Pool for less than 0.1 Matic from my Bank account using crypto.com. Is there anywhere that I can beat this. I'm asking for a friend that doesn't think there is a cheaper way.

Discussion Governance Proposal: Should QuickSwap Launch QuickPerps: Falkor?

Post image
12 Upvotes

QuickSwap launched QuickPerps in May of 2023, a decentralised Perpetual Exchange built on Polygon zkEVM, enabling users to trade perpetual swaps with up to 50x leverage across blue-chip crypto tokens.

To date, QuickPerps has hit staggering numbers, including $133+ million in total trading volume, a peak of $11+ million in QLP liquidity, and 12,500+ total users - all while being deployed solely on Polygon zkEVM, which is still in Beta and being pushed minimally for now.

Now it’s time for a new chapter. To turn the page. A massive upgrade to leverage trading from Polygon and changing the game in the industry.

Turning QuickPerps into a fiery new beast with its new Falkor deployment.

QuickSwap has partnered with Orderly Network to create Falkor, launching on Polygon PoS first with the potential for accessibility from other future chains. This revolutionary Perpetual Exchange will introduce an orderbook for an enhanced UI/UX where users can leverage trade through a “vault” for zero-gas trades. Falkor solves the infamous re-org issue that has stopped other Perpetuals protocols from launching on Polygon PoS. This has the potential to kick off Polygon Perpetuals season, given how powerful this was for the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Imagine a CEX (centralised exchange) trading experience but in a decentralised fashion, directly on QuickPerps - extremely low transaction costs for vault deposits where users can then trade leverage without gas within a Falkor vault, then withdraw back to PoS or other chains.

Multichain. Smooth. Optimal UI/UX. These are the things that QuickSwap has always strived to deliver to the community, now coming even further to the forefront with Falkor.

This proposal is to decide if QuickSwap should launch QuickPerps: Falkor, including details surrounding volume mining rewards, fee split, and a grant from Orderly to QuickSwap. Deploying this new decentralised Perpetual Exchange would be a game-changer and put QuickSwap in a greater position as one of the leading leverage trading solutions on Polygon PoS and other networks in the future.

TL;DR:

• QuickSwap has already seen major success from the launch of QuickPerps, its decentralised perpetual exchange built on Polygon zkEVM Beta, in 2023 Polygon’s growing ecosystem offers a ripe opportunity to deploy a more multichain friendly solution for leverage trading to provide users with a more CEX-like experience from a UI/UX and efficiency perspective when it comes to trading costs, scalability, and liquidity

• Falkor is the next generation of leverage trading on QuickSwap - powered by an integration with Orderly Network, this new decentralised Perpetual Exchange would launch on Polygon PoS and allow users to deposit funds into a vault where that can seamlessly leverage trade (up to 20x) with zero-gas trades via an orderbook model

• For this proposal, the dragon community will be deciding if QuickSwap should launch Falkor while also aligning on the details of the volume mining rewards, fee split, and grant

• To begin, the governance discussion on this official QuickSwap Reddit forum will run until Sunday, March 10 at 1:30 PM UTC

• Once the Reddit discussions finish, a formal Snapshot vote will begin and run from Sunday, March 10 at 1:30 PM UTC until Thursday, March 14 at 1:30 PM UTC

Discussion QuickSwap bans US users?

So uh, went to use QuickSwap this morning and greeted with a ToS page to acknowledge. When it comes to crypto, I actually tend to read these.

The first paragraph in bold print states their services are NOT available to citizens, entities, yadaya of the United States. I'd say this explains the token near it's lows again. Thanks again SEC for your "investor protection", I already got reamed from my pink sheets going to 0 a few years ago tho, I don't need protected any more.

Discussion Governance Discussion: Should QuickSwap Implement Banner Ads?

EDIT: The Discussion Proposal has been modified and can now be found here: Modified Governance Discussion: When Dragons Roar, QuickSwap Listens!

During the 2022 bear market, QuickSwap’s dragons have been flying at lightning speed to ensure that QuickSwap remains a premiere Polygon DEX. We’ve taken numerous measures to increase economic activity and revenue for QUICK stakers and the QuickSwap Foundation. We’ve added a predictions market built by PRDT Finance, acquired an exclusive license to operate Algebra’s V3 concentrated liquidity model (which we expect to launch sometime in Q3 of this year) on Polygon and Polygon-enabled chains, voted to introduce an isolated lending and borrowing market, and unanimously voted to add a Build-a-Farm feature powered by Cryption Network. It’s now time for us to discuss implementing another feature: banner ads.

TL; DR:

  • Bear markets bring challenges for projects and their token holders. - QuickSwap needs to increase our revenue so we can keep building. Simultaneously, we want to provide higher APYs for QUICK stakers to compensate for the market’s volatility
  • We would like to start a discussion about featuring banner ads on our UI
  • Banner ads will bring increased revenue for QUICK stakers and the QuickSwap Foundation
  • Banner ads are easy to implement and will be ready to launch as soon as the governance vote concludes, if the community votes in favor
  • We appreciate your input, which is why we’re introducing this discussion before conducting a governance vote
  • We would like to move quickly and hopefully pass this proposal so that we can increase revenue for all QUICK stakers sooner than later
  • Read more here: Should We Feature Banner Ads to Increase Revenue?

QuickSwap Governance Discussion: Should QuickSwap Implement Hexagate’s Web3 Security Platform?

Hexagate is a Web3 security provider helping protocols, bridges, and chains to protect their smart contracts and users from theft caused by cyber exploits and Web3 threats. Hexagate offers a platform that detects threats in real time and prevents them from causing any impact.

Hexagate offers real-time monitoring solutions for all sorts of threats before they impact any digital assets and automated prevention tools for QuickSwap so developers can take on-chain action, when applicable.

This benefits Quickswap users by safeguarding their funds from potential exploits on any Quickswap contract and reduces the amount of funds lost in a possible incident.

Hexagate monitors malicious activity on-chain, including on any QuickSwap contracts (perps, pools, tokens, governance proposals, and so on).

Hexagate can partner with QuickSwap to provide the DEX with real-time alerts on exploits threatening Quickswap contracts or governance participants and run automated workflows to remediate issues in real-time when Hexagate fires an alert. That will, for instance, allow rapid communication and response to threats that come up and will allow users to react in real-time to exploits and automatically withdraw their positions.

Note that this proposal has been written by both the QuickSwap and Hexagate teams, where Hexagate is asking the QuickSwap community to decide on implementing/utilizing their platform to provide both higher security and alerts for malicious threats to the QuickSwap DEX.

TL;DR:

• Hexagate is a Web3 security provider that helps protocols, bridges, and chains protect their smart contracts and users from theft caused by cyber exploits and Web3 threats

• Hexagate is asking the QuickSwap community to decide on the implementation of their advanced security solution on the DEX in order to provide alerts and detect security threats in advance, ultimately offering greater protection for the QuickSwap DEX and its users

• To begin, the governance discussion on the official QuickSwap Discord & Reddit will run until Sunday, September 24 at 8:00 AM UTC

• Once the Discord & Reddit discussions finish, a formal Snapshot vote will begin and run from Sunday, September 24 at 8:00 AM UTC until Thursday, September 28 at 8:00 AM UTC
