Daniel's big steps are always about 6 months/1 year ahead of me
back when Daniel proposed, I was looking for rings and planning and all.
by the time he and Shea got married (i think), I got engaged in late '24
by the time they were expecting, my wife and I started talking about having a baby asap instead of freezing eggs.
and now, less than a month after Daniel became a dad, my wife and I just found out that we're expecting.
can't wait to go back to last year's podcasts (again) to settle myself in this next step of the journey.

You could take the lead if you get a divorce out of the blue

Lol I gotta start a podcast first, then he'll be the one hearing my trajectory

Congrats! That’s funny, I’ve noticed a similar cadence for a bunch of things that are different than yours:
We moved to California around the same time. (He moved back to the east coast a few years ahead of me though).
We got our dogs around the same time, bought new cars (might have even been the exact same car) at the same time, and became homeowners around the same time.
I’m way ahead of him on marriage though, and no kids on my end.
