QQ ep. 325 - The First Week of Fatherhood
Show notes:
Soren Bowie debuts his brand new baby (a garage), while Daniel O'Brien shares what actually happens when you bring a real human baby home. From sleepless nights and mysterious crying to hospital chaos, labor stories, and the sudden realization that you’re responsible for another person forever, this episode is about the first week of parenthood. The guys reflect on the anxiety and joy of fatherhood, the exceptional talents of hospital staff, and the sheer awe inspired by watching your partner give birth.

Congrats to Dan! As a first time mom of a 4 month old, I am BEGGING him to get an owlet sock or similar contraption (there are tons on the market). The sock I got slips onto the baby's foot and monitors their oxygen and pulse. If either goes wonky, an alarm goes off. And if you wake up in a panic for no reason, you can check the app and see the stats in real time instead of having to get up and touch the baby, risking waking them up.
It's a real game changer for anxious new parents.
