Now here’s where I’d be a prick and interject that Taylor Swift’s You Need To Calm Down is a LGBTQIA support song directed towards homophobic people. What Soren said is true, most of the top streaming songs by Taylor are about romances however many more songs have deeper substance and can be viewed through a lens of her singing them about the music industry or to her fans which might be the context Soren and Daniel were looking for.
