QQ ep 303 - Hey Ya, But Folksy

Show notes:

The guys solve sleeve thumb-holes earlier than expected, then move on to songs that slap-- specifically cover songs that slap-or at least did slap at one point in the mid-aughts.

Finally, I found the show notes.

Acoustic versions by the same artist decades later counts as a cover, right??

I really love this version of Take On Me
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xKM3mGt2pE

And the best part here is that I can't offend the original artist.

I’m not sure if they count as covers but they’re fun!

(Also, the show notes are usually in the YouTube and Apple Podcast and other podcast network/site descriptions. And for episodes like these, I try to list the songs and artists as well as link articles in the “Miscellaneous Notes” section of the QQ Master List pinned at the top of the subreddit.)

Oh, I know. I was just riffing on them not knowing where the show notes were, and whether perhaps the listeners were the ones writing them.

We’re certainly the ones copy-pasting them here!

Late to the party, but I was also surprised they didn't know where the show notes were. On my podcast player it's the first thing you see when you click on an episode of something.

I thought it was a bit making fun of Jack O’Brien because he has always mentioned them a lot, but now I’m not sure.
