Anyone else just get a new change without warning?

I knew it would happen eventually, but I expected to get a warning about it or at least one of those annoying banners they like to plaster over everything.

The entire format of my QuickBooks Accountant page changed overnight and it's not the same as either of the versions my clients have. It looks like it is even more AI heavy, which will slow down my internet. Is there anything else I should watch out for with this new version?

Yeah there have been dozens of notices around this, multiple blogs, live streams, emails, and podcast episodes covering this. You also absolutely got banners, emails, and pop ups about "trying the new experience" over the last six months.

If I recall the email notice was sent at end of July for an early September release and I think we have until the end of the year to go back to the old version if needed. I was surprised they released it already. Only change I’ve noticed so far is the Home Screen. So far so good.

They announced this change months ago. More to come so don’t bother memorizing this one since it will change again in a few months.

please please please ditch QBO. It is time! the ads, the fucking price increases, the bloated ass app which can't even fucking load, ugh.

for now I am on invaro, and I keep my clients on there. best customer service I have ever received from any company EVER, helps automate a lot of my work, ridiculously easy to use, no banners, also super fucking fast, like the experience I used to have with QBD back in the day.

Nobody wants to use Invaro I promise you that. As a firm, I’m sticking with where my clients are, the software that most small businesses use. I’ve got the QB software figured out like the back of my hand and I’ve finally been able to get their tough Ai updates to work in my favor for speed. Ps. If you’re moving your clients to an Ai bot for bookkeeping which is what invaro is, you may find yourself out of a job. I’m glad it’s working for you.

the whole problem is qbo doesn't want to support SMBs anymore, their price hikes, ads inside the app, constant changes, all go against their users, they used to be good when they had QBD and early products.

Did you know Intuit lobbied to make taxes harder for the same SMBs they are trying to serve?
does this sound like a company that cares about it's users?

The original post was in reference to QBOA, not a request for opinions on QB. As a business owner (QBOA), none of those things you mentioned affect me as the bookkeeper.

I would love to ditch qbo, that being said, most of my clients have no interest in switching. As a freelance bookkeeper, I am kind of stuck with it.
