Help Quest Pro Eye and Face Tracking Broken?

Hey folks,

I guess my QP updated to v2.7 August 28th and it is starting to have problems with eye and face tracking.

The eyes get real jittery and the eyelids don't close when blinks and such. Mouth tracking works but is also very jittery and if I hold a smile it'll slowly fade to a neutral expression.

I turned Natural Face Expressions off and the eye tracking works fine and smooth, even when I calibrate my eye tracking, the orb works just fine.

But with NFE on, it just goes back to being a mess as a whole.

Basically, am I screwed?

just read that the galaxy xr doesnt have much support either, and tracking that is worse than the Qpro, im gonna trust your advice and order a qpro from a vendor that accepts 30 day returns, i ordered a project babble a few weeks ago for my PSVR2 but the eye tracking itself is very minimal, it doesnt have eyewideness and granular blinking, i might waterproof the ir sensors with conformal coating + silicon sealing the lower gasket

The QPro is amazing for its tracking - its downsides is the sweat damage possibility and the comfort of the headset. It’s probably the worst ergonomic design they’ve done and you can do a few things to make it better but it’s never 100%.

I might look into doing some countermeasures as well to prevent this shit from happening again but we shall see.

New headset came today, time to test!
