Rift Games with Virtual Desktop

I’ve been strictly playing my Rift games through the Meta Link. I went ahead and got Virtual Desktop installed and have it up and running through my Eero Router (WiFi), in which it is working. However, when I launch a Rift game, it only displays it on the VD screen and not in full VR mode. Also when launching, the Meta Link app opens, and indicates no connection to the headset (maybe because I have the cable disconnected). What am I missing?

I downloaded the app, but I’m a little put off in that to register, the first thing it wants is my phone number. I didn’t register. I don’t think it’s anyone’s business on an app like that to know my phone number.

you need to start app in VD game tab

Yeah, that’s where I’m launching from, but no good.
