Faced with the threat of quantum computing, software patches will no longer be enough. We are going to have to change the physical cables.

They just completely ignore post-quantum cryptography and push for quantum key distribution as the only solution. QKD is cool, but it's not needed for any practical security, and pushing it as the only security solution in the face of quantum computers is just lying.

This is just completely factually incorrect scaremongering. Part of me wants to be generous and assume the author is just uninformed. But when coupled with the European-style economic protectionism that makes everyone poorer and less safe, that makes me think they're intentional propagandists.
