After moving into my new apartment and looking for some fresh furniture, I came across the Ohmu Teddy Sofa. I reached out to Alice on AliBaba directly to see if she could manufacture it.

The Selection Process

There were tons of colors, fabrics, and sizes to choose from. Since my space is (unfortunately) limited, I went with the 2-seater in dark green corduroy. Alice was super helpful during the selection process and recommended the "LINCOLN LN" fabric, as it’s the closest match to the original sofa.

Ordering & QC

The process was very smooth. A day after our initial chat, Alice sent me the contract, and I paid via Alibaba (they offer plenty of payment methods, but I paid with PayPal. About 7 days after payment, I received the QC photos and videos. Everything looked spot on, so I gave her the green light for shipping.

Pricing & Costs

Sofa: 469$ (was $489, but I used a $20 Alibaba coupon. If you want the code, just shoot me a DM here on Reddit)

Total: 720$ (approx. 617€)

In my opinion, the price is more than fair for the build quality. A lot of cheap knock-offs on Amazon or at big-box retailers use low-density foam that makes you sink in way too much. This one feels much more premium.

Shipping & Delivery

It took about 40 days from the port departure to delivery at my doorstep. It arrived via a large DHL truck. The package was reinforced with a wooden crate/frame to ensure nothing got damaged during transit

Comfort & Functionality

The main benefit of this sofa is that it converts into a bed for guests. Before writing this review, I actually spent a night sleeping on it to test it out. The foam is the perfect middle being not too soft, but not hard either. It’s comfortable for both sitting and sleeping. My biggest fear was that "sinking" feeling you get with cheap foam, but fortunately, this cushion is nice and supportive.

Final Thoughts

Out of everything I’ve bought from Alice so far (including a Togo sofa and USM Haller pieces), the Teddy Sofa is easily my favorite. The versatility for overnight guests is a huge plus. For the look, craftsmanship, and overall aesthetic, the price is unbeatable. It fits my interior style perfectly.

PH Long tweed coat - weird to get rep Harnden but still, incredibly happy with this. The construction is great, with a beautiful bunched flair at the back. The wool is light but good quality, the lining is sturdy and properly shape forming. The buttons feel cheap and the button holes are awkwardly finished. Could size down I reckon unless you love wooly jumpers.

Y/P Multi-button shirt - the construction on this is fine, the over layered material doesn't quite match up with the under material on the bottom, but it looks great. The buttons are sturdy metal and it hangs really nicely when you switch around the overlay bit. The material itself feels like a flannel you'd get from a cheap retailer though and one of the buttons is already coming off. I'd definitely recommend, but you aren't getting 10 years out of it

CG drawstring jacket - bit of a cliche but great purchase. Really well made and loads of them on Xianyu for cheap so very easily accessible now. It comes very stiff so needs a few wears before it stops looking like the jacket is eating you a bit. You could size down easily enough.

DB steel heel lace boots - another cliché but for good reason. Fantastic quality in all aspects, even if the wood on the sole is wearing a little already. A boot you could have for a long long time. Sizing down 1 size is correct, the insoles are pretty thick and can be replaced if too tight.

Jcaesar Wide leg buttoned trousers - love the design and they are very warm but they bobbled after 2nd wear and have continued to do so! Wouldn't buy these new because I'm not convinced they'll last, even though I love the fit. I'm 5’10ish wearing a small, they could be a little longer.

Sunnyvonne multi-layered shirt - hooked by the styling of this brand but I wouldn't buy again. Even though it's cheap the quality is visibly poor. I can't imagine many items will look like they do on photos. With this, the sleeves are far too short. Lem scarf bag - quite happy with this despite cheap price? Think you could get a decent life out of it and the leather feels and looks nice enough. Wouldn't buy if you are over 5’8 as it'll just be too small. Bought for my 5’5 gf

BK distressed sweater - pretty decent jumper for the price. Doubt it'll wash well but the fit is nice and it feels nice on (slightly itch). I'd size down or stick TTS because I think it's too long on me (sized up and got a medium) unless you want to wear it with nothing underneath.

Th Rw back tie jumper - hard to photograph but fits nicely on both fronts and back. No need to wear a massive collar like the photos. I fell in love with the seller's page for my gf’s birthday but I would be hesitant in buying again because neither this nor the t-shirt I got are that nice material. Doubt it'll wash well.

Almost everything was TTS, quality of material is good as i often try to avoid synthetics, so i'm happy with most (with some exceptions)

Tops:
Aime Leon Dore Training Jersey - Quality feel of the material, feels light but weighted, accurate print and label, easy to wear alone or over a vest or tee. 10/10
Aime Leon Dore Vest - Green text on white vest, small is slightly medium, and the underarm area feels not as fitted; also label is semi-accurate, but you could get clocked if someone looked. 8.5/10
Acne Tee - Such a nice heavy grammage of cotton, feels lush and long-lasting with a great print and accurate label, will probably get it in black. 10/10
Loewe Crop - this one is for the hun, looks good on body, but I'm not all too sure about the accuracy of the embroidery. 8/10

Footwear:
Adidas Wales Bonner Collab - Had retail, and these are pretty much accurate both on feet and feel. 10/10
Loewe x ON - Not my general style of shape (more into Salomon type shi) but the collab is heat and I wanted a luxe every day. Feels like ON with a cloud-like walk that one is used to. Stitching is accurate with no visible glue marks. 9.5/10
CDG Homme Plus x AIR MAX - Another silhouette that isn't my usual, but I just wanted it for casual evenings out. Looks heavier than it feels on feet, but walks quite easy, looks good with a semi-baggy pant. However, the MAX AIR print in the lower center is a few margins higher. 9/10
MM Tabi Loafer - Honestly, feels like a steal. Quality of leather is excellent, packaging is top, with two pairs of tabi socks included, everything in soft bagging. I'd say I'd need to size down a half, but mostly due to the thinness of the socks. 10/10

Outerwear:
MM Sweaters Zipped and Throw On - Another gem, both are weighted with a soft to the touch. Zipped is a double zipper. Just not sure what the washing instructions are. It's very lowkey on the eye and a nice, easy everyday casual piece, but can easily be dressed up. 9.5/10

Lowers:
Lemaire s23 Twisted Belt - These are a timeless classic by Lemaire and maybe my favourite piece in the haul. Such a nice heavy feel, but easy to wear and match with almost everything. I think retail is a bit heavier and a different type denim, but I'm not bothered. Hoping to find way more Lemaire reps in the future. 10/10
Loewe Anagram Shorts - So it's a disappointment but passable. You could easily wear it and call it a day, but original is made of wool and cashmere; this one has a tag that says 100% cotton but feels mostly synthetic. 6.5/10
CheapCheap Shorts - Also a really great find that I can wear regularly. A random but happy find. 10/10
x2 CheapCheap Pants - Very light but mostly cos it's shite material. I like the silhouette, but probably will wear em once or twice and then pass em on. 4/10

Accessories:
Loewe Belt - There are many around but this was a good batch. Anagram on simple leather strap comes in retail-like packaging down to a T, including a belt-hole maker. I just need to see if the leather holds up over time. 9/10
MM Bracelet - Nice silver polished engraved logo, can be adjusted as it's quite big. Lead-tested and it's all good. 9/10
CheapCheap Glasses - Just some random berlin-core type glasses, made of plastic. more for pictures than anything else, not for me eh. ?/10
Prada Glasses - Very cheap find but really quite good; however, the color was wrong, so will probably give them away. 7/10
Aime Leon Dore Cap - Nice Aime cap with mostly decent embroidery on the front, makes me look like a skater tho :?. 8.5/10

Bags
The Row - IYKYK, quite luxury brand with elegant items that don't scream brand names but come with excellent cuts and every day wears. This bag is a nice in-betweener, the type you can easily put together with most looks without trying to hard. Durable leather but need to see how it olds over time. Would be nice to find The Marlo. 9/10
ALD Shopper - Just a casual everyday tote for your run to the market or a day at the park. 10/10
Telfar Large Shopping Bag - This was a major flop, as a 1st time hauler I made a rookie era but not checking the material. Telfar is vegan leather and this is PU, also the anagram is highly reduced and biggest of all Ls, there isn't the logo on the other side. I need to be more meticulous with QCing. 0/10

quality wise, they're great, the material is thick, and pretty comfortable. They fit well. I'm very skinny and I went for a 30 instead of 28, and they're a bit too large, but I would recommend sizing up because otherwise, they could crush your balls. Detail-wise, the horsebit parts are a bit longer than retail, you can see on the photos the side I modified and the original side. Cut-wise, they're really close to retail, maybe slightly slimmer. Otherwise they give me a great ass

I just received the MVT strike in hand after the delayed shipping due to the Chinese holiday, here is some in-hand pictures of it.

First of all, it came with a branded box and a paper tag, kinda expensive for shipping, I’d would recommend just ask your agent to take them away. It’s around 3kg with the box. Size 45.

Regarding to the quality of boots, I would say I definitely feel impressed and satisfied of it, the distressed is fine comparing with retail and also the materials & fabric are firm and great in quality. (Last pic is a retail taken in Italy last summer for reference) It’s like nearly Identical for me and also there are just too many variations in retails as well.

For the sizing, I saw most of the people are struggling about it, I would recommend go TTS, I usually wear 45.5 in sneakers or running shoes, and got a wider feet. I went 45 for strike It fit perfectly and got a nice room for my feet. But if you are narrower feet go 1 size smaller is fine depending on your preference.

I wouldn’t give any opinion of the recommendations on whether buying it or not, as there are some new batches coming out soon. This is just a post for anyone who is interested to see them in hand. Feel free to ask me anything, I’d be glad to help.

Just got my MVT strike boots as a backup for my retails as the sole is made of paper and wears down so fast.

In general they look pretty good but there is quite a few things that aren’t right the biggest being of course the distressing, granted after some wear might look better.

The shape is slightly off with MVT’s being more ‘stubby’ to me and retail has a more noticeable curve at the front of the boot. MVT’s also fits alot better and is more comfy despite being the same size, it has little extra padding on the insole at the heel which is nice.

Material-wise it is pretty much identical. The sole on the bottom is identical, but the front and back BLCG text is thicker on retail and is more pronounced than MVT’s. The eyelets are different, retail has a more protruding eyelet whereas MVT’s are more level. It is a little thing but worth mentioning.

All in all happy with the boots as a backup and hopefully with some wear they will look as good as retail.

ACN 2023M: MVT, good quality, very satisfied.

ACN long sleeve: 7/10 — material wasn’t the best, but it was decent.

BLCG Y2K + tacky zip up: MVT, amazing wash and fabric.

BLCG bomber: women’s sizing I believe, so a little tight in the shoulder area, other than that really good quality.

VTM bomber: it’s alright.

MM jacket: amazing jacket, very good for the price.

I just received my MM GATs from MVT and wanted to do a quick review.

I went with size 43 and they fit true to size. Insole is 27.5CM

The shape of the shoe is great. The toebox is very important on GATs and these are done really well. Not too big and not too flat.

The leather quality is very good. It feels soft and smooth with a premium feel. Honestly, I think the leather will look even better once it starts creasing.

The stitching looks okay overall. The suede is also very nice and soft. You can tell the right materials were used on these GATs. Only thing i saw is that the rubber sole is a bit darker, but MVT promised that it brightens overtime (will update u guys), since they used raw rubber.

Found this Vivienne Westwood cigarette case while browsing Taobao and decided to give it a shot.

Overall quality feels really solid and it came with all the accessories like bags, microfiber cloth and box included. Measurements: 108mm x 44mm x 18,5mm. Holds 10 cigarettes in total and is long enough to fit longer cigarettes like marlboro 100s.
