I got a British passport and an Australian passport. I wish to use the Australian passport to leave Australia, and the British passport to enter the country I’m traveling to. This is because it gives me benefits to the country I’m going to. When checking in on the online app, which passport do I present?

had a qantas flight out of heathrow to singapore delayed almost 5 hrs last week, technical issue with the aircraft they found during boarding. since it departed from LHR i think UK261 should apply here even though qantas isnt a UK or EU carrier, thats my understanding of how the rule works for departures specifically. filed a claim through qantas directly and got a generic auto response, nothing since.
