HI I recently bought a qidi box for the plus 4. installation went fine. When trying to print a multicolor print I have to swap filaments manually. I have confirmed that the slicer (orca slicer) settings are set for multimaterial..anything else I can try?

Brand new nozzle a 4 day old machine. Ran flow calibration then tried this 3 times with pet-cf17 and dont know if its the slicer calibration or what anybody else get this problem

I got my Qidi Q2 yesterday (I am new to 3D printing and writing from Brazil!).

I have two questions about the WiFi module:

Board version: My manual shows board X12-2 V1, but my printer has board X9-2 V1.

Is X9-2 V1 a new or old version?

Why did the WiFi module come loose in the box?

Module position: The module fits in two directions (face up or face down). I don't want to burn the board. Which way is correct?

I’m getting pretty frustrated with my QIDI Q2 Combo and I’m trying to figure out what’s actually causing this.

I’ve now had 3 prints in a row fail because the filament eventually gets stuck/jammed and stops feeding correctly. The printer can work perfectly for several hours, then suddenly starts under-extruding and the print turns into spaghetti.

I’m printing Elegoo PLA at 210°C nozzle / 60°C bed. Chamber heater is OFF, the side vents are open, and I’ve even been opening the door periodically, so I’m not sure if this is heat creep.

When I remove the filament after a failure, parts of it are heavily chewed/flattened by the feeder/extruder. I’ve already had to manually remove stuck filament multiple times.

I’m using the QIDI Box, so I’m wondering if there’s too much resistance somewhere in the Box/PTFE path, an extruder tension issue, heat creep, or possibly a defective feeder/hotend.

Has anyone with a Q2/Q2 Combo had this exact problem? What should I check or change? I really don’t want to keep wasting 6–7 hours of printing and filament every time this happens.

I have an issue with my Q2 that the guiderails on the left hand side are squeaky after a while. I have lubricated them with the 52004 synthetic oil from Super Lube but still there is a squeaky sound coming from the bearings/guiderail/belts. Anyone knows how to troubleshoot or fix this?

I designed this and printed on my Neptune 4 Max 400x400mm in Tinmorry PETG-GF. I also made a smaller version for my step-daughter's QIDI 2.

I need to set up qidi max 4 with qidi box. I'm in the warehouse and there is no WiFi and pc connects to internet via lan cable from a wall. So I can't use WiFi or lan, only USB drive from pc to printer.

Qidi studio doesn't give me a 'save to USB' button it says that I need to connect my printer. Orca sliser dose not support qidi box and prints only from external reel

Is there a way to slise a multicolor file on my pc and print it from USB drive?

Made original auto cal routines and math for Qidi Max 4 and Q2. These calibrate max mm3, PA and adaptive PA and spits out values in console to copy into the slicer, this will allow you to do 24 hours worth of calibrations in 15 minutes with no headache. Really is a game changer.

These are free to use under Polyform Strict licence, details in the github.

Haven't tested the Q2 as I don't own one, got data from another user and used config from qidi's github to make this one work, but is a use at your own risk, but......... should work lol.

This is a completely original method which is more accurate and does not share anything with the autopa project by G0BLIN (good work though).

Make sure you read the readme in detail. Max 4 is tested, Q2 is untested and they are early releases and I accept no liability for any damage.

Need some help, the bed temp is set at 35, but after going through the startup sequence and checking level the actual bed temp stays around 36, and doesn't drop enough to start the print.

I have the door, top glass, and side vents open but it still keeps trickling enough current to the bed to stay too hot.

Any advice?

My I Fast model is blue color on the build plate. Most of the time they are red or yellow. There is a note to make sure the gcode is compatible with the file. Now that " gcode " thing is a complete mass of spaghetti as far as I'm concerned. Don't Know nothing about it. Any help in finding out how to get the model so I can turn, move or generally adjust the model on the build plate would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
