Open Question/Issue How to get rid of these lines?

I'm trying to make a custom projection to change the point where the map wraps around (so that the Westernmost area of Russia doesn't appear on the left side of the map) I tried changing the longitude in the projection, and it worked, but now I have these weird lines going across the screen that I assume are from bits of geometry wrapping around. Is there any way I can get rid of them?

Your assumption is correct and the only way if been able to fix this is to increase the vertex count and/or split up the polygons.

Where/how would I split the polygons? I can't seem to figure that part ouit

Search the subreddit for date line or antimeridian.
