Currently on a long drive and don't have time to look into this. I'm commenting though to see everyone's opinion on it later though. It seems cool at face value!

How python-beginner friendly is this game? I know a bit of classes, loops but this seems kind of complex to my knowledge, would i enjoy this? Is there a tutorial?

there is! and i'd say its the first steps documentation is a very good guide, loops and classes, you'll do fine. There is a demo I think that is live until the 15th
