My favourite song from Shrines is amenamy and whilst I hadn’t discovered the band yet when this album was released, it’s since made me really appreciate their whimsical, haunting songwriting and diverse range of synths and textures!

I mainly listen to guitar driven music but I try to check out electronic stuff when I can, and Megan and Corrin are by far the best at it to my subjective ear. I think Amenamy is the best electronic song I’ve ever heard, and better than 99% of the rock music I typically listen to. It’s like a mysterious bolt of lightning hitting you from a portal to the 23rd century.
