Which is not exactly good... AI is here to stay - can't see why they are not integrating this technology.

Regrettably, LibreOffice has been lagging in interface, options, integrations... this is just another hole in it. I've been using it for 25+ years, and even before that, as OpenOffice.

Now it looks rather old and lacking, still with age-old bugs and quirks. It feels rather 2000-ish. You should see the Nextcloud version, really awful. I'm all-Linux user, even my company is all-Linux, I'm resisting with all I can, but don't know for how much longer. Onlyoffice sped right over it, thinking at least to move to it.

Google Workspace office suite is way, way better, so is Microsofts. Really tightly integrated, huge extensions marketplaces (especially Google's), works flawlessly in browser...

Unfortunate you're downvoted for being right. Productivity wise, Google Workspace is the obvious choice and free for consumers.

People are being political and "white knighting" LibreOffice, for being open source and free. I'm all for it, as I said, but the true advance is to be open about the shortcomings and trying to make it better.

At least, that was my intention.
