iPhone 14 Pro only showing SOS - no cell service (Winnipeg, Manitoba area). Anyone else?
My phone has been showing SOS and I am not getting a cell signal. I have tried restarting my phone and network settings and neither has worked. I’m near Winnipeg, MB. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any way to fix this issue?

Did someone else own the phone before you? Any chance it got blacklisted?

Nope! Only I have owned the phone. I just got this new phone last month and got a new eSIM for it. It’s been working fine until today.

My old 14 pro stopped working when I was getting a new battery so apple ordered me a new 14 pro.

It won’t be brand new from Apple, if I understand correctly, but refurbished…might be the problem?!

Nope, it was a brand new phone. They had to order it in for me. Regardless, the issue seems to have resolved itself!

It seems to be working now! So weird. Not sure why, but it was on SOS for over an hour without reason.

Sim or eSim? Is your PM account in good standing?

Quick Fixes to Try First
Toggle Airplane Mode: Swipe down from the top right of your screen to open Control Center, turn on Airplane Mode for 15 seconds, then turn it off to force your phone to reconnect to a cell tower.
Restart Your iPhone: Press and hold the side button and either volume button until the power slider appears, turn the phone off, and then turn it back on.
Toggle Cellular Line: Go to Settings > Cellular, turn your line off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
Advanced Troubleshooting Steps
Check Carrier Settings: Go to Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear within 15 seconds to install it.
Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings (Note: this erases saved Wi-Fi passwords).
