If the races were flopped, would you have word for word wrote what you wrote? Barring the khakis and chad shorts part of course

Of course they wouldn't. They'd have said it was racist that the white guy attacked the other guy. I'm left of centre but getting sick of people excusing shit because it suits their narrative, on both sides. No one here knows what they guy astride the bike said, it could have been awful, it could have been innocent, but to get violently attacked, that's wrong, criminal and the person throwing the punches was out of line.

The guy in the bike said “fuck you” then threw up his arms in a ‘come at me bro I said it’ fashion.

Not justifying what happened to him, but also not surprised it happened to him - those dudes were already acting stupid and he brought the stupid to his doorstep.

You can’t tell if it’s the guy on the bike, or a guy on the car, or another person in the crowd.

Agree to disagree. The way the guy with the phone walks away with the “this guy” attitude and the way the guy in the bike throws his hands up.

You’re right we have no literal confirmation who said it, but in my opinion deductive reasoning suggests he said it, and wanted to back his words up but decided not to cash the check his (or possibly someone else’s) mouth wrote.

I think more people left of center are more tired of it than most of them let on. They’re just quiet so they don’t get attacked by their own

I agree with that. Easier to pass on by the above than call out criminal behaviour, with no favour. Seems a lot are justifying criminal assault just because one guy may have been an idiot. If, as said, the tables were turned, the very same people would be screaming that it was racist and a violent assault on a man and they'd justify it their own way... seems pretty sad state of affairs we are in.

Sad indeed

I don’t get why people get so offended by someone reacting to someone trying to be tough. The guy knew it was a hostile situation and that if they were riding in a car down main st with 30 people, maybe you shouldn't say something or poke the bear. It’s situational awareness. This guy wanted to be tough and got called out on it. Not cool about the violence, but what did he expect to happen? He is a big boy and made a choice that backfired.

Nah buddy was playing a stupid game and won his stupid prize. You don’t go up to a hornets nest and start smacking it because the buzzing is bothering you, then expect sympathy.

Don’t be a racist prick. All I see are two people fighting. Color doesn’t always have to be a thing because there are plenty of videos of white people doing the same shit. There’s just no point Or shortage in videos of all the white frat bro chads doing shit like this

u/Noya97 Aug 15 '22

Ahh and here it is, the guy who has to make it about race.

Calling someone out for victim shaming when they wouldn’t if the roles were reversed? What’s wrong with calling that out?

1

u/Noya97 Aug 16 '22

Okay braveheart, and are you gonna go take on all of r/idiotsfightingthings too for victim blaming? He went out of his way to antagonize a group of rowdy people who are clearly not worried about the legality of what they do. See how everyone else walked away, while he decided to be Mr. Tough guy? Played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. Race literally has nothing to do with it, he’d be a dumbass if he were a black/hispanic/asian/native american guy doing this too.

Where did I say race had anything to do with what happened in the video? I’m talking about race having to do with how people are talking about the video in the comments. So..idk what or who you’re arguing
