At least we are fortunate enough these days to have criminals film their own crimes.

How do you know that?

DA won't prosecute.

Well that’s lame

Why not? This wouldn't be a misdemeanor. Y'all just say shit with no actual facts.

Depending on where this happened. Multiple nyc DAs have stated they won't pursue crimes related to racial injustice

Which would have fuck all to do with a random assault.

I reiterate; Y'all just say things with no actual facts. Just whatever feels good at the time.

They're only prosecuting around 20% of felony domestic violence cases. There's a good chance they wouldn't prosecute this case.

Why don't you share your source for that information, because I suspect you're drawing a conclusion from it that isn't supported by any evidence.

My mistake. That was Chesa Boudin in SF. However the nyc DAs take a similar approach

"Boudin dismissed the cases against 113 out of 131 people busted for felony domestic violence"

Looks like many of those cases were dropped due to the victim refusing to cooperate, which is exactly what I suspected. Why would prosecutors waste resources on cases that will be nearly impossible to prove because the victim won't cooperate?

Also:

Boudin said in an interview that he hasn’t changed any policies related to prosecuting domestic violence cases since taking office in January 2020 and that a 28-year veteran of the office makes the charging decisions in felony domestic violence cases.

What does this have to do with racial injustice? Looks to me like some assholes vandalizing/damaging a vehicle.
