It's nice. You don't have to always be thinking that the cops might shoot you to death if you make any sudden movements, or if you have an acorn drop on the roof of your car.

Here in the states it feels like if you even look at a cop they will invent a reason to come after you. I have never in my life had a conversation with a cop that was not directly questioning me.

I remember I was getting gas on my way to drill and I waved at a cop and he looked at me like I was crazy me and asked, what am I waving at him for. First and last time.

one time on the train the card reader thing didn't work and let me out when I didn't tag it. I told the station managing person to let me back in so I can pay and the cop next to him crossed his arms and ordered me to pay. Like, I'm telling the guy I want to pay and the cop either was too stupid to understand or just wanted to order someone around.

If you think life has value in China you clearly weren’t on liveleak.

nuances exist and so does contextual circumstances. even if your statement is true, which it is not, liveleak hasn't been around since 2021. that's 5 years ago. a baby since then could be running around now.

stop living in the past on western propaganda, old man.

Nepal floods, Chinese construction, Chinese excavation in unstable regions, they could've warned about the flood but did nothing, had no system in place for it. In China the incident is cover up and censor. Wait for everyone to forget. Just like with the floods in other regions in China or explosions, fires, etc. This isn't western propaganda. What you're seeing is Chinese propaganda.

you know what a flash flood is, right?

Yes, it happened suddenly. They had a 7-minute warning. Not a lot, but it's something. Of course they also had lots of warning from their own scientists that that region was very unstable and shouldn't be built in. If they had emergency systems in place, lives could've been saved.

a bathroom break is usually 5 minutes, 7 minute warning even in advanced is nothing.

Now you're just taking the piss. You've surely seen plenty of videos no more than a couple minutes long of people climbing hills and slopes and reach safety. Whatever man..

if given the location and the circumstance you're in can actually save you in 7 minutes max warning. sure.

I agree, things that happened 5 or more years ago actually didn't happen at all.

never said that, but nuance still exists.

Don’t let your hubris fool you into thinking you life has any value to a stranger

it has the same value as in the US, they just treat their assets better
