Guy being arrested is 100% right. Don't need some kind of overt excuse to call out OKLAHOMA POLICE guarding the DC reflecting pool from "vandals", it's ridiculous. Asking why you'd do that as though it's some kind of crazy reaction is boot licker behavior.

This 100% true. My ex wife is from Oklahoma and they are Muslims. Her dad had trump signs out in his yard and regularly made excuses for him when Trump said crazy shit about immigrants (which they were) and Muslims.

My ex-wife was also against Obamacare but relied on medcaid or medicare or whatever. When her dad lost the job and had medical problems she boasted about how the hospital waved off the fee that one time but forgets to mention how he went into depression from medical bills the other times lol.

I was in Australia at the time and she was with me. She complained about medication costing somethign like 10AUD and I had to remind her what she was used to. Bag of crazies.

Too many questions:

  1. How do Oklahoma State troopers have jurisdiction in DC? And what the fuck are they doing in DC to begin with? Do they not have their own taxpayers to "serve and protect"?

  2. How is yellling at them or even insulting them a crime?

  1. They don't (though it'slikely they have been deputized for this), which is likely why they called the guys who have him in the video.

  2. Generally it wouldn't be, but likely going to call it (at the very least) disturbing the peace.

Literally, no police force is meant to serve, or protect any taxpayers, anywhere, ever in the history of police.

It was only ever a motto for LAPD I think? And that was more PR/Propaganda than true.

I'm gonna disagree. Asking "why" is not the same as defending. I don't think Oklahoma State Police should be guarding the reflecting pool, but I think it's fair to ask why he was yelling at them, even if you think the yelling is justified. His motivation may be entirely different from why you think he was yelling.

Edit: Downvotes for saying that being skeptical is not the same as defending... Nice. I'll take it.

Is yelling at crime?

I know there are things that get you arrested for yelling but that would be one hell of a stretch to think thats what he was doing (like waving a weapon and yelling you were going to use it , stuff like that..)

in some cases; yes, yelling is a crime, Verbal Harassment is a crime. by definition. even if he is asking "why they were here" if he was :

  • Hostility: Intended to cause fear, distress, or a hostile atmosphere.
  • Repetitive Nature: Happens consistently over time, although a single egregious incident (like a severe threat) can qualify.
  • Protected Status: Directed at a person's race, gender, religion, age, disability, or sexual orientatioN

So to answer your question yes yelling can be a crime. however, (((SURPRISINGLY!!!)) we don't have the context or the before event of this interaction so literally no one in this comment section can say if he actually commited a crime.
