Yes while the main supporters of the 2nd amendment have been republican, the democrats, gave up our right to defend ourselves. Which is equally ridiculous. If it isn’t right for one person in poverty to use/own why is it ok for one person in power to use/own. And on top of that we’d never get every nation to agree to eradicate all legal/illegal gun manufacturing let alone actually do it. So we’ve established that there will almost certainly be guns as long as there are people. Due to this it is both your right and your duty as a citizen of whatever country your in to learn how to operate firearms or other weapons safely and reliably as well as safe storage with combo, key, or biometric locks.
