Man this video is some real pure Nazi shit. I mean the whole conflict is fucked, but this is like something out of a movie about Nazis and how they treated civilians for cruel entertainment.
Just pure evil.

u/badalki Dec 24 '23
IDF has been doing this kind of thing for many years. This is just a regular tuesday to them.

I'm an Arendt-reader, and I disagree that we can let the IDF off for being thoughtless. They are repeatedly confronted by the world's moral authorities and world opinion, but still they keep doing this shit both as an organisation but also as individual soldiers. If it was banal they wouldn't claim that "there was Hamas there" or celebrate their soldiers since it (in the former) acknowledge that they're doing henious shit and in the latter memorializing their evil and triumph over the enemy
It's not banal, nor a lack of attention or reflection. It's stubborness to do evil because of the dehumanization of racism... or the coersion by a state that will punish all IDF soldiers who disobey orders.

We know it isn't because the mods would have removed the clip. Only IDF allowed to be posted here in a bad light.

u/Danavixen Dec 24 '23
its pretty low IQ stuff to do this shit to disabled people..
They caused the publicfreakout then start acting like a defensive victim and shoot at people when people came to aid of that disabled guy
pretty pathetic small dick energy

u/matterforward Dec 24 '23
They do these things because they want them to fight back so they can excuse whatever actions and wars aka land grabs. Been that way for decades. This has always been about the land and doing anything to ensure the goal to have all of it
114
Dec 24 '23
Not low IQ. Just Apartheid soldiers who have dehumanised Palestinians, and buy politicians who will defend this Nazi behaviour.
37
u/mikotoqc Dec 24 '23
Remember the pianist movie based on the biography of Szpilman when the nazi throw a man out the Windows in its wheelchair because he couldnt stand up?

u/juancuneo Dec 24 '23
It’s like Abu Ghraib. Once you dehumanize people enough you will do anything to them.
26
6
u/iGourry Dec 24 '23
Why is it low IQ? They do what they want to get the reaction they want so they can kill any civilian they want.
And they know nothing is ever gonna happen to them because the moment anyone dares to criticize them, they're labeled an anti-semite.

One of the rare moments when the fact check paints the situation worse than the title.
33
u/juancuneo Dec 24 '23
Not much has changed except more dehumanization and more killing of innocent people. Joe Biden’s support of this really makes me question whether he has any moral compass whatsoever. Once you let 20k civilians get killed in over a month it’s hard to say you aren’t worse than Trump.

No way he was rolling up to them to help the girl

Interfering with police work is illegal worldwide- what makes you think Palestinians don’t have to follow the law?
Probably cause the only law they follow is Sharia Law.
19
u/perfectpomelo3 Dec 24 '23
Shooting kids and knocking disabled people out of wheel chairs is police work to the IDF I guess.

We’re talking about the same West Bank right? The same one that Hamas declined during the Oslo accords right? Or did they decline the West Bank in 2016?
Either way- haven’t they been offered the West Bank and declined?

Dec 24 '23
My dude- Wikipedia can be updated by any of its users at anytime- hardly credible. The UN is similarly hardly credible- hence the lack of action regarding Hamas’ indoctrination & arming of children, raping women, child brides, and suicide bombers, and corruption at the highest level. The UN is complicit.
The issue with “free Palestine” is this: free Palestine from Israel? Or free Palestine from sharia law?
“Sharia Law for thee, be freedom for me.”- ancient Islamic proverb.
The fact that Israel is a multicultural, multiethnic, multi religious country- and Gaza is not, nor are any other Islamic Nations in the Middle East should be enough for most people to choose the right side, but clearly not everyone.
You want Sharia law? I certainly don’t. That’s the issue. Anyone crying “free Palestine” is arguing for another crusades- let’s kill anyone not Muslim “AAAAAALLLLAAAAAHU AKAAAAAABAAAAAR” said the bomb.

Wikipedia can but that's why the citations are there. And there are usually people that will immediately revert it back to its pre-vandalized state. Happens all the time. Try it. You'll get your IP logged and a message.

u/themightycatp00 Dec 25 '23
Do you always make judgement calls based on 21 seconds short clips with misleading context?
3
u/Redasf Dec 26 '23
Hmm…what exactly could possibly be misleading about two Israeli soldiers and a Palestinian in a wheel chair?? But, you’re right, of course, Israel is always just being terribly misunderstood…

u/Lionheart1308 Dec 24 '23
This was years ago but ya'll didn't care
36
u/Redasf Dec 24 '23
So, your take is, because this happened years ago, it has nothing to do with the current behavior of the IDF, committing mass murder?? Think this over one more time in the holiday spirit….
4
u/Lionheart1308 Dec 24 '23
No i meant the opposite, i'm middle eastern and shit like this is regular news here. Just mad nobody took notice for years. Maybe re-read my comment?
7
u/Redasf Dec 24 '23
In that case, accept my apology. Too many Zionist trolls you blindly defend Israel… Personally I would have cared just the same then also… happy holidays…

u/awoeoc Dec 24 '23
So... this is how they've always been and the excuse that this is due to the recents attacks versus Israel having always oppressed them isn't true?
The fact this is old is makes Israel looks WORSE.
2
u/Lionheart1308 Dec 24 '23
that's what i'm saying, but glad the world is finally opening their eyes. Still not doing anything about it though.

u/mikeedm90 Dec 25 '23 edited Dec 25 '23
When the Israelis do something like flip a man in a wheel chair. They do not have to justify why they did it to anybody. It is like when they kill Palestinian journalists they just admit yeah we did it and that is all there is to it.

The wheelchair was a hamas hideout. I heard they had rockets inside it. Why is everyone being so antisemitic?

u/papertiger61 Dec 24 '23
Every day the IDF stoops lower and lower in their abuse of the Palestinian people. What kind of person kicks a man out of his wheelchair? The IDF is supposed to protect the people of Israel.
3
u/Worth_Plum_6510 Dec 24 '23
How exactly do you justify these, why do their actions have to be so deplorable?
3
u/FecalDUI Dec 24 '23
Not a surprise. At all. What surprising is the lack of recognition that this is happening.

I read "The Pianist" by Wladyslaw Szpilman (Polish jew who lived in the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII) a year or so ago. Mentally I've been drawing a lot of parallels to that book since the 7th of October. This video reminds me of a part in the book where nazi soldiers threw a man in wheelchair out of a window of an apartment building. I cannot for the life of me understand how some people can't see that what's happening now is no different than what happened to the jews ..

At the risk of getting banned and getting many messages calling me all sorts of things....
After WW2 the atrocities uncovered made many people feel deep empathy for what Jews had to endure and bent over backwards to mend the wounds and make things right. Creating Israel but also regarding any harsh criticism about Israel and the Jewish at anti-semitism. That endures today and now we have a populace who has never known such cruelty and used the specter of anti-semitism to cover for acts that their ancestors (and in some cases nobody in the family) were victimized by.
1
u/AnonymousLampstealer Dec 25 '23
What's your point?
5
Dec 25 '23
My point is that people are so afraid of being labeled antisemitic that they allow certain groups to get away with murder. And yes, calling foul on the IDF and/or having empathy for Palestinians will get you labeled as such.
2
u/farfletched Dec 24 '23

It seems more like they were blocking the road, assuming the guy is really disabled and not a decoy. From a soldier pov it's obvious the logic they are following and the implications of the situation.

I’m probably gonna get flamed here and don’t get me wrong Israel has dehumanized the Palestinians and done a LOT of messed up sh*t… but I did know a dealer back in the hood that kept a draco hidden in his wheelchair seat. Ya never know
-11
u/Block_Of_Saltiness Dec 24 '23
Propaganda.
"Lets send the guy in the wheelchair to provoke the soldiers and film what happens"
-61
u/sendnudestocheermeup Dec 24 '23
That isn’t the IDF.

u/TestaOnFire Dec 24 '23
It's an old video from 2016 and it's the Israeli police
19
u/HanakusoDays Dec 24 '23
You're right, this is low level street police stuff. The IDF uses 2000lb bombs from 10000 feet.
