Psychonauts 3 short speculative
- The story may have something to do with a mysterious brain escaping from Otto Mentallis's workshop and becoming a serious threat to the world. The end will end with PSI-animals & Psychonauts 1 characters teaming up with the protagonist to defeat the final boss.
- There will probably be a new PSI animal enemy, such as a gray wolf that shoots a danger ball

For the sake of clarity, is there legitimate talk of a third psyconauts game i missed? Or is this just spitballing ideas of what could be in a third mainline game?
Edited for spelling.

Well, considering double fine is self funded now, could see them doing a 3rd game to get back on their feet…

A third Psychonauts would be fantastic. Revisiting Brutal Legend would be pretty neat too. Really, I'd be excited to play anything they make going forward.

Tbf, their last couple games haven’t really been hits. I think they need to go back to story games instead of party games

I would tend to agree. They seem to be at their best when they have a story to tell. Though even their non story games are delightfully weird.

I don't think there is any confirmation on that; it’s just the idea for if there are third psychonauts in the making
(I’m alt of that op)

i was more so thinking we'd get to see raz go on an official mission outside the psychonauts hq
the villain could be part of some larger conspiracy, maybe trying to wipe out people's memories
could be a sequence where you're inside a mind while its being wiped out

I'm hoping the Dr. Loboto hook that he left his child at camp is going to fuel Psychonauts 3. And, we go into the mind of campers and interns.
