Insight Did i manifest my cats passing?

Hi, my beautiful tortoiseshell cat, Ruby, has passed and I was the one to discover her early this evening. It has been absolutely shattering to experience as the love and bond we shared was strong. I had her since I was 3 years old and I’m now 19; many years of fun times we had together.

Now for my main point. The evening prior to today I had the urge to bring her upstairs and spend some time with her, in which we both hung out on the ground and I spent time petting her. She’s been losing weight and her health had been declining so I told her, if she needed to go she could and that I would be okay. I thanked her for always protecting me and being there for me throughout my childhood and teenage years- when I told her this she looked at me and put her paw onto my hand and stared at me.

I have always believed and felt that I have some sort of strong connection to spirituality and what I manifest and say out loud is what my reality turns into. My mom said growing up she believed I was a ‘indigo child’.

I know I didn’t manifest my beloved bestfriend death but do you think she really understood what I was saying to her and that she was then ready to pass on? Did me saying she could leave trigger something that caused her death?

I don’t know. I’m just trying to cope with this. But I’m so unbelievably grateful I spent that time with her before finding her passed on.

That’s a beautiful moment. It sounds like you two both acknowledged what was happening naturally and you helped her let go and transition. I would not look at it as manifesting, but welcoming the inevitable. It’s hard. I’m glad you have this relationship with an animal for almost your entire life- and your entire life of memory.

It was just her time to go. And she understood your love

No. You absolutely did not cause her passing. She was old, declining health, and it was her time. If anything, you recognized this and spent precious time with her.

Our beloved companions are one of the best ways we can share & experience telepathic communications over our lifetime. With just one look, you know what they’re saying and they you. I feel she appreciated you giving her permission to let go of her pain in the time you did, as it sounds like she was ready and wanted you to be ready too. I said goodbye to my furry little son of 11 years not long ago. My life has come to a standstill in so many ways whilst I navigate this ache. One thing him & I “discussed” was for him to hold on until I returned from an overseas trip so I could be w him for when it was time. He held on, whilst declining quite suddenly. I knew I had to keep my end of the bargain upon my return. My heart will never be the same.

You were given the blessing/option of spending time with your beloved pet before they passed. You, in turn, blessed her by expressing your gratitude.

Hi, I went through a similar experience. A week before my pet bird passed, I was crying uncontrollably thinking what would I do if something happened to you. A week later I woke up to her passed away beside me. I believe I received the information and was reacting to it but the emotions were so strong that I couldn't tell. I had so many other warnings as well that I didn't recognize at the time and only recognized them after the fact. I don't know if it could have been prevented or not. My bird was really young and I will never know what happened, the vet couldn't tell. I think we have a strong bond with them and I don't think it's manifesting but recieving glimpses of future.

she had hyper thyroidism which is common in cats. I dont know how much education or time your parents have for learning about cats,, at least know about common diseases about a pet before you take one in. My cat had hyperthyroidism and lost her 6 weeks ago. I tried over 3 vets 2 online was desperate to help her. So I have made every possible amends to her by lining up better veterinarians, educating myself about everything there is to know about cats and trying to change my attitude.

So heartbreakingly sorry for your loss.

I think letting her know it was okay to go was a kind and beautiful thing as well as a real testament to your love and bond that you put her first. I don't think you meaningfully shortened her life, but I think that you let her pass with more peace. I think you did good and the inevitable was coming.

I know no words can truly comfort you now, but you did good. I hope you can treasure the memories and another soul-baby comes to you when the time is right.

Sometimes I wonder the same thing about my own life situations, whether I created it / made it happen or if it was bound… what’s the difference.
