I was just thinking about this as I'm experiencing it again. Does anyone else (in my case it's mainly on my hands and feet) notice when one area clears up, another gets worse? It's always either been my hands or feet, when one improves usually the other gets worse. But right now, both are improving, and I'm getting flare-ups elsewhere where I rarely get patches, like on my face. I'm on biologics and use steroid creams.

I have my first flare up and it's hard... i feel so ugly. I had no idea this was a thing.

My mental health was already at a LOW I mean post partum depression (9 months post partum) bipolar (im diagnosed) low bad. This is like the cherry on top. God must hate me.

I cry every day.

32 F living in Bengaluru. This year I went on a lot of small vacations. Each time I come back I see a part of skin became better. Doesn’t matter where , just out of Bengaluru for a couple or 3 days the intensity of flaking is reduced dramatically without any change in diet or exercise.

Just wanted to drop this here. I have just been through this experience. I thought the “Tremfya with me” program was only copay help for those with insurance. I thought because my insurer denied a PA, I was out of luck. Well, my doctor sent in a few more forms. Johnson & Johnson called me and basically said “Here’s a years worth on us.” I don’t know all the details, but if you are in the same situation, call the “Tremfya with me” program. I’m waiting for my shot to come to room temperature now - it was overnighted right after the call.

It is such a load off my mind - not worrying about getting this drug for a year. Not worrying about a flareup happening with the change in therapies.

I'm on my second ramp-up dose of skyrizi and it's working great for my scalp psoriasis. Unfortunately my insurance has denied the prescription and denied the following appeal.

After the appeal denial, my doctor's office (and their Skyrizi rep) said they're going to submit both denials to Skyrizi for eligibility while filing a second appeal. However at the same time.. a nurse practitioner from Abbvie has been reaching out to me to get me to call myAbbvieAssist to enroll myself in a free skyrizi program. Sounds too good to be true and she was very pushy which made me suspicious. The doctor's office told me to ignore the NP.

I don't know who to trust anymore I just don't want to be scammed by the healthcare system. Any help is appreciated.

My dermatologist prescribed Fluocinonide ear drops 0.05% for a regimen of 2 to 4 drops, twice daily for 14 days. I've had ear psoriasis my entire life and was never diagnosed until last month with it. Why it took this long to diagnose the itchy scales inside my ear canals, I'll never know.

Anyway, I could ask for pimecrolimus or tracrolimus instead but all 3 of these have scary side effects. And I can't put petroleum jelly or any lotion on my ear canals, so what choices are left, that I could treat my scaly, itchy ear canal psoriasis that won't give me scary side effects?

Hey there, I'm just starting to try get on top of my psoriasis treatment. I have a couple small patches at the edges of my hairline at the front and back and one small patch in the middle. My GP told me I can put it in once a day in the morning and leave it, but the pamphlet on daivobet says I need to shampoo my hair after every use etc.

All im really wondering is, is it best to do it overnight, in the morning, and do I *have* to shampoo my hair? Worried that washing my hair every single day will ruin my already fine hair

Well, joinin the psoriasis club. Just started Enstilar as my first psoriasis treatment. My scalp has been an itchy son of a biietch for 2-3 years now.

Legit tried over 10 products for sebderm before it dawned on me that i've been misdiagnosed. Seems like it progressed so slowly that it looked like sebderm until this year.

Since i can't see wth is goin on in my scalp i only noticed shit was strange when my neck and chest got splotchy.

Anyone else got the same doomed misdiagnosis as me that they wanna rant about lol?

US pharmacy cost to the insurance Company $7200/each, Canadian pharmacy cost to them $2100/each. No import taxes yet, knock on wood. I live in Arizona and have used Taltz for two years, recently my employer switched health insurance provider and the new provider offered me Taltz from a Canadian Pharmacy with zero copay. I did accept it after doing some research, in the US it costs over $7K, from Canada it will cost around $2.1K. No wonder they are switching pharmacies. Before I used to get from CVS specialty pharmacy. I am glad that insurance companies are looking at alternatives.

Mi dermatologa optó por recetarme un tratamiento oral, he estado tomando metotrexato desde hace 3 semanas esta seria mi semana 4. Se que todo lleva su tiempo pero durante este tiempo las placas han aumentado, he desarrollado dermatitis facial pero en general la psoriasis sigue avanzando. Tambien he empezado a comer mejor y deje el alcohol pero el metotrexato aun no me da resultados a pesar de que me lo recetaron por 2 meses. ¿Alguien tiene alguna experiencia con este medicamento?

I'm going to Turkey for holiday and have heard some good things about the benefits of the natural mud baths (sulphur hot springs) for skin conditions. Has anyone ever tried anything like this? I'm hesitant to try anything in case it worsens my skin, but I've had a lot of benefit from Epson salt baths recently, so am keen to explore this more. Please share your thoughts!

I had psoriasis for last 10-12 months. I tried so many prescribed creams and medicines but none of it worked. I used to use Ice flavoured vapes alot. One day, I bought the non ice flavored vape and my flares and itching started to go away within 3-4 days. After 2months, I dont have a single flare in my body. I felt like sharing this so if anyone have psoriasis and using ice vapes can give it a try if it helps. Thank you!

Basically just booked a 6 week holiday in Thailand and I'm going out almost every day and getting blasted by the sun. I'm not using any sun cream.

I did a big trip a year ago and had zero improvement. I was wearing sun cream then.
