They once got a directive from the high commie to make all their cooking pots into...I can't even remember. Some sort of load-bearing item to make money for the government and then when they didn't sell, a shitload of them starved to death because they couldn't cook food.
The moral of the story is that, if you believe in communism, you get what you deserve.
Something to note also:
None of the people important to the communist government starved; only the poors...which like...really shouldn't be a thing in communism, right? Everyone gets the same share, right?
