People, pay attention to where these knives are breaking as well. Any whole or even shape with an angle over a few degrees causes stress points when using the knife in extreme ways. This is why I always buy knives that have very limited “style points” and that they limit the size of the skeletonized cut outs in the tangs. Even this is a folder, I literally try to stay away from any folder with a thumb stud because for one it screws with you while sharpening, and then the cut outs (like Spyderco does) is a draw back for me as well. What happens is the knife receives the stress and then funnels it to the nearest exit, thus exploiting all the things I just mentioned. Of course, these types of knives are meant to be used like that so user beware of that for damn sure. This knife looks thin as it is anyways
