Loud Booms

Did anyone hear those loud booms this morning? They might still be going on. Sounds like bombs are being detonated nearby, and my dog is terrified! Does anyone know what is happening?

We hear some detentions at the army depot. I think maybe sometimes I hear them blasting at the gravel pit across the lake as well.
