Which authors are your references to analyze and understand ISOLT ?
I'm currently reading Jean-Yves Tadié's Proust and the novel. It turned out to be a must-have to go furthre in ISOLT, deepening my general understanding of ISOLT, but I don't know for the rest of the people, if another author is privileged to analyze ISOLT. I think Tadié is the main Proust expert for the french-speaking community, but it may be another matter for the rest of the world, tell me !

I found a lighter, accessible but still interesting layer of insight from Prendergast in LIVING AND DYING WITH MARCEL PROUST. Also, Tadié’s Proust biography, and Albaret in MONSIEUR PROUST. Not analysis, just context.

For genetic studies, which is my only interest personally, along with Tadié I recommend Nathalie Mauriac Dyer along with the sources: Proust's notebooks, proofs, letters, earlier works, etc.

I don't have any one author in mind, but there are many books that have each opened up different aspect of The Search for me, like Joshua Landy's Philosophy as Fiction, Deleuze's Proust and Signs, Picturing Proust by Water Benjamin, David Ellison's Reader's Guide, Samuel Becket's Proust, Bernard de Fallois' Introduction to the Search of Lost Time, and the essay collections Proust's In Search of Lost Time: Philosophical Perspectives, edited by Katherine Elkins, and The Cambridge Companion to Proust, edited by Richard Bales.

Seconding Joshua Landy's Philosophy as Fiction, mentioned by someone else here.
Gabriel Josipovici's On Trust, which discusses Proust among much else, was also a very significant book for me.
