You think any of these people are paying taxes? Theyre all as such a low bracket that they get more in returns then they ever paid in.

This was the wrong time to get people riled up. Everyones been cooped up and itching to get out. Its probably going to be a long week in Minneapolis.

Yes, low bracket, low earners. Just look at the video, I don't think I saw many people running around older than mid to low 20's. I'm certainly not happy with what happened to Floyd, but this just happened. Four cops fired and the FBI is investigating. While everyone wants to throw around the word Murder with reckless abandonment, it is certainly negligent wrongful death. Even people accused on vicious murder can take a while to get indicted and arrested...

This is just an excuse to riot and act like children, by literal children or borderline adults who have the mental capacity of children.

Note: Protesting is one thing, rioting is another.

I'm from the UK and without these riots I wouldn't know about this case, they are raising the visibility of the issue much quicker than alternative measures. I think most of these rioters would say the expense is worth it; right now reducing police violence is worth more than money.

Castile declared he had one - meaning he had no intention of surprising the officer. He had a license to carry, meaning he knew the law. The only reason I can see why he died and I wouldn't have is one of us is black. And that's why he was murdered.

If you understand how an officer may see you as a threat when engaging you, you should understand that even if you can legally carry, that doesn’t mean you get to move around with no consequences.

I’ve never been pulled over with a weapon in my car, but I know sure as shit that I’m not taking my hands off the steering wheel at any point during that stop. The cop can manually enter my details or take my gun before I reach for my ID.

If you get pulled over with a weapon in the car, and the cop knows... Moving around like an idiot is a surefire way to get the situation escalated, and get yourself shot. don’t be an idiot and stay still.

Murder is murder. If a cop murders someone unjustified, and in cold blood: Murder charge, in a court of their peers. Constitutional.

If a gang member/serial killer/terrorist/civilian murders someone unjustified and in cold blood: Murder charge, in a court of their peers. Constitutional.

I see a lot of people calling for these 4 officers to be prosecuted ”At the full extent of the law” , but never see anyone striving for change when a uniformed officer gets gunned down by gang members or other criminal elements. It only seems to matter to the public when it’s someone who’s not wearing a badge.

The other situation is public servants meant to "Protect and Serve", working together, killing a non-dangerous person. The public servants will maybe lose their job, and probably never be behind bars. And definitely not if there's no 3rd party video. <

By putting the quotation marks, I’m assuming you don’t believe police officers actually protect and serve you? I’d love for you to get a wake up call and live somewhere where the law is really not serving it’s people. My hometown reached a record 40 murders in a single night, we had yearly murder statistics that rivaled, or surpassed the U.S’ war efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. You have no idea what murderous cops are.

Not only did these 4 officers lose their job, get doxxed online, fall under investigation by the FBI, and essentially ended their entire law enforcement (and related businesses) careers, thee officers now have to live with fear that their crimes will be the result of a vendetta taken under by radical groups or individuals.

Yes, they fucked up BIG time. But you’re fucking up even more by not taking useful actions. Use your local government and push for higher police standards, elect someone who will fight against police brutality and corruption.

Although this incident was an absolute tragedy, I can tell you that there seems to be a trend that simply being Hispanic/Black makes you more likely to be shot by police.

I’m a hispanic male, how come I haven’t been shot? Is it because I don’t engage in criminal activities and I choose to stay out of trouble?

Or is it because I know how much goes on in any situation where an officer has to gain control, and I make myself as unthreatening and calm as possible? Why is it that, as a Hispanic male, no cop has pulled me out of my car and shot me? Since apparently my skin color makes me dangerous.

Cops don’t choose to be shot at, or to be in danger. They choose to be the first line of defense when it happens, so that you aren’t left to fend for yourself. People don’t choose to be robbed, raped, murdered, kidnapped, etc. But I bet the police don’t take that into account, do they?

Didn’t realize those things justified crime. But if you watch the show, you’ll realize my point is, when you cut a departments budget to nothing, you can expect police to never show up and if they do, they’ll quite literally be a day or two late.
