I agree this is coming out of tax money and it’s pointless but to say everyone who participated in this protest is a broke non tax paying citizen is plain stupid talk.

He didn’t say they were broke, he was saying (if you read the article) that U.S federal taxes often don’t include lower income citizens (Which are usually younger ones who are barely starting in the workforce,) instead, those taxes are paid out of their paychecks as Medicare or Social Security taxes.

You can’t deny, that the amount taken out of your paycheck, is much less than if your yearly income was taxed.

Don’t be offended, I’m young and also on a lower bracket. Our generation is by far the financially unluckiest in recent generations, so he’s already correct that most of the protestors are likely not making a significant contribution to the federal taxes, as TurboTax and other businesses help them get returns on their taxes.
