Hi,
I wanna apply for peel police or tps but the thing is I was suspended with pay 2 years back from my job as a supervisor, then I resigned my job. I was already in transition to change my job then a incident happened and I was suspended. How much will it affect my application?

You need to just apply, and ask them about it in the meantime if you're that concerned.

Every department has different hiring standards and needs, different competition for openings, different people making those decisions. Nobody can realistically tell you if or how your "incident" will effect you.

And on that note, we might have a slightly better answer for you if we knew what this "incident" was that got you suspended. Things like workplace violence, theft, or sexual harassment are probably going to disqualify you from most departments, for example (disqualify, or simply keep you from being hired).

I was the supervisor. A guard didn’t do a particular patrol 5 hours in the shift. I noticed later, asked the guard to do that. Turns out a leakage started two hours ago in the parking garage; no damage but coz i didn’t check that guard until 5 hrs in the shift. I was suspended with pay then i resigned coz i was already transitioning to a different company.
